Please identify this eCig.

Unknown ecig, belongs to a friend. Identity needed to purchase cartomizers, etc.
The battery is a couple millimeters longer than my VK standard battery. The cartomizers are almost exactly the same size as my VK carts if you disregard the threads on the mystery carts.

I'm thinking she needs to just fork out the money for another device

looks like a 401 to me. (but not if it's a carto )
Does the cart pull off the threads?

Edit: I take that back. 401 has female threads on the atty. Could be 4081, but again, not if it's a carto. You can try screwing it to the batt and pulling (gently) on the cart to see if it comes off. If not, I have no idea, sorry.

Looks like the 4081 with the new cartomizers. Lots of places are starting to sell them now.
