It's a Nylabone damn it! It's a plasticy bone with a grooved rubber middle and boy does it massage my gums while I chew!
Put a little peanut butter on it and it is heaven. At least my pup goes nuts whenever she sees the peanut butter jar.
Ah but PB gets in the carpeting! I've got 2 BIG baskets full of dog toys (and it's hard to find toys large enough, and strong enough, for big dogs!) and they love the "Kong" type toys with treats inside. But nothing beats a bone for non-owner participation, self entertainment!
anyone else notice how any thread you make in the chuck forum ends up mike's please post picture gallery? 
When my sister took her dog for training, the owner talked about those fake fleece stuffed toys that dogs shred. She said that to the owner it's a disgusting, chewed up thing ready for the garbage but to the dog, it's a trophy, a memento of his "kill." The fleece is the pelt and the fluffy stuffing that gets dragged over everything is the guts.
Yeah, well... There are apparently two things Mike does really well -- Photoshop and beg.
