Incredible documentary about Dr. S. Burzynski: Cancer Is Serious Business. It's about the Dr's trials and tribulations with the FDA, and others over his cancer cure! "It's the most damning thing I've seen yet that exposes the FDA's practices to squash any research that isn't funneled through big pharmaceuticals to keep the gravy train running for them at our expense." (Frank Koza in the comments from Dr. Siegel's blog today.)

Very interesting. I have a brother-in-law with brain cancer. Someone posted a link to Dr. B's site where they mentioned clinical trials, and from there I tracked down a study on brian cancer that uses his discovery. Very interesting film.. I believe all of it, I have no doubt the Government does not care about us, it only cares about our enslavement!

This stuff makes me SO MAD. I haven't watched it yet but its queued up at the moment... My son had cancer at 22 months. Told he had a 20% chance to survive the chemotherapy required to treat this very rare form of cancer (Rhabdoid Tumor: Rhabdoid Tumor Facts : Renal Tumors) He went through a hell that no child should ever have to go through. 9 months of chemo that would cripple any healthy adult, plus the surgery and all the after effects. He survived, amazingly, and is doing ok, but anything, I mean ANYTHING that can help ease this especially for children, in my mind is worth it if it works. But refusing to even allow this stuff to be CONSIDERED is ridiculous. They gave my son rotating treatments every 2 weeks of 2 different extremely potent chemotherapy drugs that had to be given in high doses. This type of cancer happens very quickly in young children, typically around 12 months of age, but up to 2 years, and to sit by your child and explain why it hurts kills you as a parent. I wish that there was a way to make people see the suffering these people go through because they want to line their pockets with the slag left from Big Pharmaceuticals.

My heart goes out to you and your son, rain. So sorry you had to go through that, and thankful that your son is ok. The documentary has many testimonials exactly like yours. Everyone should watch so they have an idea of what we're up against. I knew, but only to a small degree compared to what is brought out in this film.

This is a truly excellent documentary. They've extended the free viewing time through 6/20, and I strongly recommend making sure to watch this as it explains how and why the FDA is attempting to bury any actual CURE for cancer that is not sold by a major pharmaceutical company.

Like e-cigarettes, Dr. Burzynski has had almost unbelievable success but Big Pharma doesn't own the patent, so the FDA doesn't approve.

There is true evil in the world, and its been hiding in the sheep's clothing of "public health" for a very long time.

Thanks for posting this. Just had a family member diagnosed with cancer.

I personally think the head of the FDA should be brought up on at least manslaughter charges. Too bad our system of government has gotten so corrupt that it wont happen.

Thank you CJ, I'm glad he survived it, sadly he's the only one that year who got it who did survive (about 10 children worldwide). There would be cures for "incurables" if the tests would be allowed. If you're told your child will die, or has a 80% chance, you'll do the trial to see if it will help if it has a sound basis, which this does from what I understand

I'm still having a hard time absorbing everything in this documentary. Although I already knew much of what is revealed about the FDA to be true, it astounds me to imagine that Dr. Burzynski appears to have developed a very promising line of research that is shockingly effective against the deadliest types of cancer...and PhRMA has been so successful in their bullying that this promising research has been completely ignored for the past several DECADES. Like with e-cigarettes, it really seems like if there was something truly dangerous, you would think after all the effort that has gone into discrediting it, the "antis" might be able to actually specify any actual harm or any reason why it shouldn't be approved.

How have they kept this a secret for so long?!?

A lot of it has to do with us. Cancer is scarey. When your child, mother, sister, etc is diagnosed, you may appear composed but you freak out. The doctors talk to you. They usually explain what's going on and what treatments are used for it. They are taught what works, they go to places like St. Jude's and they learn new things. However, they are under FDA regulations as well. They pass on the knowledge they have to us. They may even be prohibited to mention something like this doc's research due to it, and fear of losing their license. My son has/had amazing doctors. I don't believe that, considering how much they do care and that they deal with terminal childhood cancers, they would intentionally keep anything that might help from their patients. But we take what we are told, sometimes but good doctors sometimes by bad, and especially in a situation where its literally life or death, there isn't always time to shop around and do research. And its not something you really think about until its in your life.

What I found really disgusting were the 9 patients that were murdered in the NCI's unilateral initial clinical trial. For those who haven't watched the video, the National Cancer Institute and the FDA had agreed to a small clinical trial. Dr. B had given them the information regarding dosage and the type of patient that this worked for. The NCI changed the protocol to include patients that had larger and more advanced cancers. Dr. B informed them that the dosage they were going to use would not work on cancers that advanced, and that a larger dosage would be required. The NCI told Dr. B that they knew better than he did how to go about conducting this trial. Dr. B. pointed out that he had been working with these substances for decades and understood better than anyone how they worked. NCI told Dr. B to go fly a kite and refused to supply him with any information on the trial as it progressed. The trial was a dismal failure in that all 9 patients died.

Dr. B found out much later, when someone accidentally included the details of the data in a conference presentation, that the blood levels of the drug in the 9 patients were way below the therapeutic dosage. Dr. B concluded that the NCI had actually been diluting the medication so much that it would have been ineffetive even on patients that were not as sick as those the NCI decided to include.

Those doctors were warned. They arrogantly asserted that they knew best. The patients died. That's murder in my book. At the very least, it's manslaughter.

And how about the FDA, along with a consultant that Dr. B had used in the past and the Pharma company that wanted to license his medications and then backed out of the deal, filing Patent Applications on the doctor's discoveries. And why did the US Patent Office grant these patents, in view of the fact that there were already Patents on the same substances (held by Dr. B)?

And why the heck should a govenment agency be granted Patent protection? Especially when the government agency in question did no work at all to discover the substance?

It's sad and disgusting that people in our own government would do this, but the documentary generally stays pretty upbeat and funny. No need for it to ruin your week because the information is spreading and we can continue to put pressure on the FDA to stop protecting us from prevention and cures for cancer that are treated by drugs the FDA regulates and start approving cures and protect us from the greed of PhRMA.
