Hi, this may be in the wrong place, however after reading this thread, I am going to put in my two cents.
I am also new to the whole vaping experience. As madame psychosis stated in the above thread start reading in the new member forum. Find a thread that looks good and read, read and read. I spent four days reading over 3000 posts to get the information that I needed to start vaping. Yes it takes time but worth it.
There are many different models to choose from and it truly is personal preference. I started with Blucigs and now I solely us a Chuck. I had some issues with the Blucigs and I was looking for something that solved the problems. What may be a problem to me might not be a problem for someone else, again personal preference. You will have to invest a bit of money to get started and you may not be totally happy with your first purchase. My advice is to not spend too much money on your first e-cig and see where it goes from there.
To the member that was getting a little hostile

with the new members asking the same questions, relax. New members become old members and the point to all of this is for support to quit smoking analogs. For some of us long time smokers, this is a big step and we don't want to drop back to old habits. Try to be supportive and don't get too frustrated. This is a big learning curve with all the products out there.
For all you newbies, do your do diligence and read. There is no excuse for being lazy. There is a lot of information to absorb and it takes some time. Do a search for Chuckleheads and come join us. We are an eclectic group and some of the old timers are pretty savvy.
Thanks
