Pluid ruins protank heads?

Woke up this morning and my protank was completely airlocked. At first i thought this was because it fell off a shelf last night since it would still somewhat fire if i unscrewed it until it was barely on at all. Upon further investigation I discovered the little ring on the bottom of the head was warped. Here is a pic of a brand new head next to the airlocked one

Is this because of pluid? If so I'm very disappointed I was hoping the protank would be a solution to both my hatred of cartos and my love of juices that destroy plastics.

Did you notice if it was damaged before you added the Pluid? Also have you tried another head to see if the same thing happens? I know you might not want to risk a head but that night give you your answer. From where I stand though, it looks like the Pluid did the damage. Glad I don't like that stuff. I'll have to ask my friend if he has had the same problem as I gave him my almost full bottle after trying 2 hits off my PV. I'll let you know.

I just put in a new head so I'll know in a few days. Even if it is ruining the heads, 2 dollars a week isn't enough to stop me from using corrosive juice

Lol! That's almost exactly what my friend said. He loves Pluid.

well thats the problem, if you like pluid, then you REALLY like pluid and everything else is just eh.

If the ring is made of rubber then yes. Pluid has been known to make rubber swell. If its silicone then I don't think it's from pluid.

Rinse it off and set it aside for awhile and the swelling should go down and the head might potentially work again.

i just threw it out, didnt want to fret over a $2 head. not sure what it is, but it looks like rubber to me

UPDATE: 3 days using pluid on the new head, already noticing slightly restricted airflow. Here is a pic of it now to compare it to a new one. Pluid is definitely ruining protank heads. I will try murdocks suggestion of letting it dry after this tank to see if it gets any better

Damn you Murdock. Pluid ruins everything, especially other flavored e-juices. Except for MahaRas, that one is great too, and when it plays with Pluid , together they kick all the other e-juice kids in the...

At least you had some in your possession. I'm not a Pluid fan, but I've been staring at my Boba's like Col. Tigh eyeballing his last bottle of booze.
