So, even though it was mailed Thursday morning express mail, it's still not here on Sunday evening. $25 to the USPS, when it would have probably gotten here just as quickly using parcel post.
It sat around for three days in a depot in Maryland, and-even though Express Mail is SUPPOSED to be mailed on Sundays-it sat this morning in OKC. Eveb though every shipment I've received on a weekday has always gone through if my hope city received it that morning.
Two different groups of postal employees, despite the fact that its express mail, left it lying around without giving a crap.
Frak the stupid postal service. (Except for the guys manning the counter in Bethany, Oklahoma; they're really helpful and cool.) They keep losing business to FedEx and UPS, and wonder why that happens. I'll tell them why, it's because many of their employees don't give a crap. Then they keep raising their rates to keep these losers in their union protected jobs. There may be a line out of the door in the post office, but they'll only have one or two people on the counter, while several are leaning on counters in the back talking with each other.
I won't cry a tear if half of them (somehow) manage to lose their jobs.
