Well, I sacrificed some button height but they still work fine. This was a stock black LT. The paint was getting thin so I got rid of it. I think this looks better. Now to get rid of those end caps...

Look´s better but those end caps must go... How did you remove paint?

Agreed but it may be a little difficult. I have dropped it a couple of times and ended up having to epoxy the top cap on. Not sure if that will ever come off.

How did I remove the paint? Dremel using various attachments, sandpaper, and sweat. There are some areas around the buttons that are not as smooth and shiny as the rest but it's not too bad. Removing the paint wasn't as time consuming as getting all of the scratches out from the paint removal step.
