Poll / Best of Rating System .. ??

On some forums, polls/surveys can be created with a thread .. thus allowing folks to vote and votes are compiled with percentage ..

I can't find that capability on ECF .. as a vaper for a couple months now, and after spending a good amount of time studying .. it would be great if a poll could be created listing the various e-cig models and allowing members to vote for their favorite model .. thus essentially consolidating the many reviews and what not .. this would seem to me to be a great help for new members and those searching for a solution .. there is a lot of info to go thru as it is now ..

As well, polling could be done on vendors, etc ..

Thoughts .. ??

If there is such a capability and there are already polls, my apology .. and a link would be appreciated ..

Sounds like a good idea. I would picture this as a series of polls, for example, "what are your three favorite tube-type mods". Multiple choice answers (or preferences) would give a better picture of what the community likes and dislikes.

However, the issue with juice is the subjectivity. On other fora to which I contribute, the adage "YMMV" (Your Mileage May Vary) is take to the degree that comparative discussions are not allowed to be poll subjects. It works, but it doesn't give the newcomer a good idea of what is good and what is mediocre.

I wouldn't even bother asking anyone what ther fav. mod was unless they had owned 6 or more. Just remember opinions are like----------everybody has one including myself. It just depends on what you want out of it. What you want it to do. You also need to use good attys and batts. Alot goes into it. Would be advisable to spend days or weeks on the forum and youtube - read and watch everything. My 2 cents

Yep .. I'm simply looking for a way to get member feedback consolidated on the hardware .. juice, not so much as it is subjective .. but a hardware voting system that compiles the info would be an invaluable aid to many of us newcomers, IMO ..

My experience at other forums indicates that polling can clearly point out the good, the bad and the ugly .. and that's what I'm looking for ..
