And me saying..."Don't be so opinionated and give them suggestions". That was meant towards the start of the thread. I wasn't meant for the good people who want to help others. Sorry, if I offended anyone.

No offenses made, Charlie. I'm actually quite surprised you were able to snag that User Name,

The booth at my mall sells a ONE eGo kit for over 100 dollars.
When I'm at the mall, if that lady isn't there that made me cry, I always ask how much it is.
Its been the same $114 or whatever for a while now. A stainless steel eGo battery and cartomizers -__-
They haven't even gone as far as selling clearomizers yet.
Their idea of big innovation was getting rid of the 306 atomizers with carts to bring in Cartomizers.
I was really upset when they did that because I used to go there to buy a 306 atty for 4 bucks.
Now they have NO atomizers (probably to discourage people saying "hmm I wonder if u can buy juice to drip?"
and now all they sell is 5 packs of prefilled cartomizers. Their tobacco is DK green tea. the pinacolada is pineapple.
The reason a lot of the employees have tried to sell me their used cartos is I ask them if they sell singular cartos.
They don't. They only sell 5 packs for FIFTEEN DOLLARS. But they do say "If you want, you can have this one for 3"
and they begin to unscrew the cartomizer on their personal e-cig to try to sell it to me for 3-4 bucks.
That kiosk is horrible and I don't recommend anyone buy from them. Thats just my opinion. No slander. Thanks.

The mall Kiosk at my mall hurt me. Badly. They hurt my feelings pretty seriously.
So I don't go there for ANYTHING anymore. I avoid that kiosk like the PLAGUE.

I thought they were OK people. Turned out they were all very cold hearted. Everyone there.
I won't get into specifics unless asked but I WILL tell the truth: they literally made me cry.
A woman working at the Nuvocig booth at my local mall e-cig kiosk literally made me cry.
All because occasionally I would stop by with a mod to buy atomizers or cartomizers for it.

So if you EVER see a nuvocig shop, or someone using a Nuvocig, tell them its a ripoff asap for me.
because thats what that place is, a rip off. especially the one in my mall.
the prices set by the owner not only rip you off, but every employee that works there has tried.
Every employee that works there has tried to sell me "1 of my used cartos for only 3 bucks if you want"

SCREW THAT BOOTH. I walked away from it crying one day, and I will never walk up to it again.

I am sorry to hear you had such a terrible experience. Although, I am extremely curious what they could do to make you that upset.

As am I. Does that particular employee have a tendency to belittle?

Those people are the worst, especially when you're in a tough spot. I know.

I honestly just cant bring myself to tell you guys what made me cry. Its too much for me.
Basically, a rude old woman with a boston accent told me the owner didn't like me and didn't want my business.
And I'm guessing thats a direct result of going there with my lavatube or my juice and talking to his employees.

i usually stop at those kiosks at the mall when they have several people and ask how much for one of there ego kits($149) even tho i already know the price, then when they tell me i gasp and say "wow i can get one online for under $40 that comes with more and has free shipping" loud enough for everyone there to hear.

and while i can appreciate that these vendors do have to charge more to have there shop set up in the mall with the volume they sell they really have to need to mark things up 200-400%.

they charge $30 just for a 10ml bottle of juice there and say it was voted the #1 juice in the country when in reality it is just a no name juice they are making themselves. and voted on by who?lol

In retrospect did any of you know what you were getting before you started your journeys?

I have read both the negative comments about kiosks and the kiosk owners response to markup and overhead. While it's true there are some un-truths being told about cartos being equal to a pack or two of mokes, those stores just like B&M have overhead, they have employees to pay. We still need to act respectful and help educate others. Would any of you walk into a steak house and tell the patrons they could get their meal cheaper somewhere else?

I have said this before, I purchased a mall kit, with a single battery, atomizer and cartridges for $140. Yes it was overpriced, no there weren't any B&M in the area. What this kit did for me has been life altering, I made the conversion rather quickly and it made me search for more information and ultimately to ECF, also made me realize that the single battery did no good while it was on the charger and this forum helped me to identify what I had and to add back up batteries.

It will be 3 years this July being moke free, if it weren't for my initial kiosk impulse buy I would still be moking.

What I suggest is that you take a moment to think about it, if you want to get the word out on where to go and what to get is to put together flyers, hold meetings, but get the information out there.

you have to keep in mind also that when you started it was almost three years ago like me...totally different times from how e-cigs were then compared to now, three years ago there was very limited info on e-cigs and not many people knew about them and very low availability. these days pretty much everyone knows about them and there are endless choices, while highly over priced kiosks may have helped in the past they also hurt the industry with there crazy prices turning many smokers away from the possibility of switching to vaping thinking it was to expensive and not knowing any better.
lets face facts here those kiosks are set up to make money not educate people about vaping.

250?! Sweet mother...that's sickening.
Unfortunately there's always going to be someone ready and willing to take advantage of the uninformed.
When I was first directed to ecigs, I started looking at cig-sized kits, but then I found a local shop who had eGo kits and discovered I could get so much more gear for the same price
Ended up skipping the cigalike phase and went straight to an eGo C setup
Haven't even been vaping a year yet and I'm now on a 1300mAh Spinner with a mini-Nova running juice from MtBaker. Even have a MT3 as a backup and some spare heads for the mNova

It is unfortunate that the people who shop the kiosks know nothing about computers or have no Internet. I know many people are skeptical of ordering online. We take a leap of faith with our bank cards. I know I sweat bullets when I order from a new vendor and stalk the vape mail. We have flea markets down here that sell decent kits, but I don't feel like dragging my .... out of the house early in the morning on a Saturday to go to a flea market for juice. These kiosk people don't know we can make our own juice!

Yup just a quick search on a smart phone and the person will know within a few seconds that it is a scam.

Why does everyone but me live by a "local shop." I think the closest vape shop to me is 3 hours away and I can't drive :(

I feel like going on blu.com or buying anything other than a lavatube from volcano is only slightly less of a rip off than those kiosks. Sorry im so irrevocably biased on this subject, i think cig-a-likes are the balls. An Ego Twist is the smallest thing i've ever been satisfied with lol. Then again my old Ego kit cost me like $45.00 not whatever a random salesdouche decided he needed for pot money that day xD. These Kiosks will eventually just be a place that real vapers go to troll ignorant salesman, people just aren't quite ignorant enough about e-cigs anymore for these places to thrive
