It seems most of us spend a lot of time/money/effort trying to find rings to cover the 22mm -to-19mm taper on top of the ProVari.

I wish ProVape made a 22mm straight side top cap ProVri. The majority of my tanks are 22mm. And then someone could make an 22mm-to-19mm adaptor for those occasions when we want to use a 19mm, like a 19 IBTank or a ProTank.

Baghandler, I am following your advise to the "T"... got the S&P 23 enroute. Sophia and Lokilab ring, hippo v2, and KF provari ring on hand... However, I would like to know about the problems you are experiencing with the Sophia and these set ups. I want to make sure I know the solution beforehand.

I have had zero problems with the Sophia. The issue I had yesterday was with the SNP 22mm and Pro Ring. Actually, the real issue was me. User error. I did not realize that in order to use the GP Pro Ring with the 22mm SnP you had to remove the cover of the end cap on the tank. Actually, I didn't even realize that the end cap was two separate pieces on the SnP. Fortunately, the patient souls on the Sophia thread set me straight and with a link to a pbusardo vid all was revealed.

Edited to add: I can't take credit for the recommendations, all praise should go to technonut. I would follow that man right off a cliff at this point.

I did until I just made a spreadsheet that tells me how much I've saved vs how much I've spent. I'm ok with what I've got all of a sudden.

No spreadsheet here but I can look at my stuff to know what I spend and enough is enough, I do have a couple of orders still coming in, some totroe rings because the gap in between mod and tank drives me nuts and a real sweet deal on a special tank.

I am the mother of all birds...cheap, cheap, cheap and I have an iron rule I don't buy on credit (two exceptions car and house) the rest of the time its cold hard cash, if the cash is not there to back it up I will do without.

Awww Shucks! I wouldn't go quite that far though.. Maybe to the edge. ;) Really though, thanks for the kind words. It's just my way of giving back to the community which helped me over the past 3 years. :)

I was off by a little bit, not a huge amount - I was thinking about 2/3's of actual, but those juices added up quicker than I thought. The reason I started the sheet was to find that point when 'vaping is cheaper' actually saved me some money :)

Am I alone in not wanting a beauty ring for my Provaris?

I totally dig the tapered top cap. It is unique. Part of the beauty of the Provari. I even like it when I use an attachment that is wider than the Provari. IMnsHO, the beauty rings ruin the look. Yeah it looks all......uniform. Makes it look like a lot of other mods, not a Provari

Just my unasked for 2 cents

A black cap to close that gap would look spectacular.;)

What gap? (Stares closely at mod/tank)

Part of our kir fanis love is that they matched the teardrops in there beauty attire for the ProVari so we don't loose that special Provari look.

If you didn't put the ring on it, you wouldn't lose that special Provari look. Right? :rickroll::headbang::banana:

To each their own. :vapor: Vape on!

Vaping to me isn't so much about money as it was saving and improving my life, the ProVaris are the skeleton that I'm building up on.
Now that I have a solid foundation and house I can do a bit of fancy work on the landscaping I just won't use an architect and firm to do it all at once it will be done piece by piece.Part of the fun is the hunt.

I got a veradera, so it would match the tapered size, VERY slightly deciding I liked that look, that it was a bit more unique than the look I'd get with a Prive-Special, or wider tank with ring.
But I'll get a ring soon, too - for variety. I like variety.

Just this morning, for variety (didn't take a pic, sorry) and to see if it would work (it DID), I stuck a Tatroe Protank BASE on a MINI ProTank, and slapped it on my brand-ey-new ProVari Mini. It's kind of a good look!

Totally understandable, I'm just on the other side of the fence... quitting for me was 100% about the cost. Luckily I have all I really need in terms of hardware (besides a couple more tanks which aren't all that much - although I may get a KFL for long-term cost savings) so I should start catching up pretty quickly.
