Positive and negative...anyone know which one?

We are making our first mod (a puck), and we were going to use the connector from an old 510 VV instead of buying a 901 connector. We don't know which is which on the wires- one was blue and one yellow. The yellow is connected to the very center, the blue WAS attached to the inside wall but it accidentally came loose. Anyhow- anyone know? Don't want to use it if we don't know!

It doesn't really matter which one you use on simple battery mods. The center pin can be negative if you like. I always routed it the easiest way on my AA box mods, the atty don't care which is which.

Willy is technically correct on simple battery mods. The industry standard is that the center pin is positive, thus I always make the center pin positive.

yes I agree the atty is just a resistor pos or neg don't matter but the standard is +center allways used that . if not for trouble shooting later. the normaly open switch I used in either positive or negative side of the battery works either way .
if you put electronics in your mod things meight change so.
