Positive/Negative does it matter?

Hey everyone! Its been 3 weeks and I can't be more pleased. My SSGGTS has been rocking and its definately the best experience with vaping thus far.

With that I have to admit I'm overly protective of my GG and I try to baby it as much as I can. I've been clumsy a couple times, I've made a couple mistakes but my most recent makes me wonder:

Does it matter if the battery is placed with the positive facing towards the bottom? I was in a rush today and threw my GG in mini mode and put the battery upside down and then vaped on it for the past 8 hours. I didn't realize it until I went to switch batts after a drop in performance and now I'm second guessing about it.

You guys have been great with a couple of issues previously, so I wanted an experienced users opinion on it. Have I done something wrong or is it ok and I'm freaking out for nothing.

I don't think it matters it won't hurt anything and it must of worked fine if you vaped it like that all day its probably better if they are right side up but I'm sure you didn't hurt anything...

It wont hurt the mod at all and the atty doesn't care which way the current travels either. Now when the variable volt add on comes out, then it would make a difference. electronic circuity cares about direction of current flow, but not a mechanical mod

It matters only because the positive pole may bend the spring in a way that it will touch the body of GG so a short will happen Vapr.
