I'm using Sony vtc4's in a stingray mech mod and having a possible issue. Tell me if this seems abnormal: on a fully charged vtc4 my setup is lasting 4-5 hours. Now I'm vaping on a dual coil .2 ohm build and really hitting it hard and often. So is this a normal life for these batteries and I should consider a less energy intense build OR could I have a faulty battery?

At .2 ohms, you're drawing a current of approximately 20 amps, from what, a 2400 mAh battery? I'd say 4-5 hours is pretty good. 2400 mAh means 2.4 amp-hours. With a current of 1 amp, it'll last for about 2.4 hours of continuously holding the button. It will last you 1/20th of that at 20 amps, 7.2 minutes held continuously.

ETA: Oh yeah, vtc4's are only 1600 mAh. So 4.8 minutes of continuous discharge...

I'm fairly sure that they are authentic after looking into it. Thanks for the replies. I'm pretty sure it was even closer to the four hour mark too. But yes I think it was my build. I rebuilt using 26g to a .5 build and things seem fine thus far. And honestly my flavor seems better on this .5 setup. I wonder where the sweet spot is for flavor and vapor production.

So sorry lol I'm still pretty new and I don't want to mess around when it comes to batteries. I may be a noob to mech mods and rbas, but I know that it's important to be safe when using these batteries.
