Why is ECF full of so many people against subohming?

The mod was in a pocket in a pair of pants that I was not even wearing. The pants were hanging in a locker at work. I had no idea that the mod was firing continuously, as I was not even in the area.

Again, you make claims about inaccuracy and even accuse me of lying, yet you won't provide any information to dispute my information or back up your claims. Who is going to believe you? Why even bother posting on ECF, your rep is already tainted on this forum.

I use both regulated and mechanical mods on a daily basis. I have no vested interest in promoting one over the other, but yes I do believe a regulated mod is inherently safer than a mechanical mod based on its built-in protected circuitry. Protection that a mechanical mod does not have. This can not be disputed.

I don't think it's really a matter of users totally against sub-ohm vaping, it's a matter of safety & there a tutorial (or blog) on the issue on this very forum.

Personally I have nothing against the idea, but at the same time want to feel safe about my vaping experience, one that I've enjoyed since November & I just wouldn't want to do anything that's unsafe. Sub-ohm vaping isn't for rookies, nor for those who are nervous about the idea, it's for those who knows what they're doing & are willing to take risks.

I'm just getting my feet wet with rebuilding my coils & haven't really got that down pat yet, so no I wouldn't want to get into something that would be a hazard (to me). My distributor took the time showing me how to wrap them & left me with a Atomizer Ohm Reader for my personal safety, telling me that if the ohms were too low, I could be literally carrying a destructive device in my pocket.

Too, not everyone is into this, there's more to it than swapping coils & more work is required. There's also more heat involved.

However, if one knows what they're doing, by all means, go for it. It's just not in everyone's comfort zone.

Enjoy!
