Possible to charge itaste mvp through the ego connector?

The innards of my fiancees itaste mvp 2.0 have come slightly loose somehow so now the charging port just pushes in when trying to connect it to the charger. I have a couple kanger evod chargers laying around so the question is would I be able to use one to charge the itaste until I can open the box up and hopefully fix it?
