Not really sure what to do here so I am hoping for some insight. I have been vaping now about 3 months and no matter what I do or try after about 3 pulls on my provari I almost instantly get a heavy feeling in my chest like I can't breath, I hack and cough very frustrating. I've tried everything I can think of tried lighter colored juices then darker colored juices, from there I went to all pg then all vg then the whole gamet of different mix combos. I currently have kanger protank 2.7 ohms running at 4.5 volts on my provari. And I also have an ego c that I run with a dual coil carto prepunched in a tank. Nothing seems to make a difference and I do believe that if this doesn't work out it will only be a matter of time befor I'm back on the analogs. Is it possible that this just isn't for me ? If anyone could share similar situations or has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

I lost my cough almost right away after switching to vaping. However It came back once last week. I realized I had been vaping more often and mostly darker fluids. I'm still using the darker fluids but have cut back some and the cough has not returned. It doesn't sound like vaping is causing your problem. Maybe go see your doctor.

Everyone has a different experience, but maybe try dialing down the voltage on the Provari. You might also want to try dripping to see if it's the filler in cartos or the silica wicks in the clearos. I've had similar issues with what you're describing but haven't had it happen since I cut over to gennie style RBA's (SS mesh wick w/Kanthal wire).

I had an issue like that with 70 to 100% VG juice, and once the problem started it lasted a while, didn't get back to normal for a couple of weeks after I stopped using the VG juice. I don't have any problems though with my usual 70PG/30VG juices. Have you seen a doctor just to make sure it isn't something non vape related?

I have experienced from a couple friends with borderline emphysema they can't handle vape at ALL! How bad are your lungs? If that bad its very true you don't need to inhale these e cig vapes at all to get the goods. My one friend can smoke pipe tobacco inhaling but she can't tolerate vape at all and it's due to the damage. So she keeps smoking. Very stubbornand very sad. There are snus and snuff. Smoking is way way way worse. Educate yourself in the tobacco alternatives to smoking section

What everyone said plus my story:

One of the first juices I got was a very tart, acidic apple... couldn't even get one good puff and I started coughing like crazy, so I stopped inhaling to the lung, just to the mouth and then out, taking way longer drags, that works like charm for me.... (you might need to adjust nic level if you go to this method)

Lets not jump to conclusions. :)

First of all, go get a checkup. I can think of a million reasons for heavy feeling, coughing etc. You NEED to have this checked out.
It could even be reflux/gerd, believe it or not. We are not doctors here giving advice, just vapers. I think this point needs to be stressed...I know I would feel just awful telling somebody how to vape, when it turned out to be something not even associated with vaping!

Now, you mention pg and vg only.......but did you try that WITHOUT any flavorings? Flavorings can be lung irritants for some people.

Please go to doctor first, get a clean bill of health before making any life changing decisions. If you have to go to another nicotine replacement scheme, while this is being sorted out, then do it. but please do NOT go back to analogs.

Try the most natural stuff you can get. Virgin Vapes, Absolut line is very pure, 100% VG but thinned with distilled (I think). I get what you have when I do very heavy VG but I can totally handle the stuff from VV.

I don't mean to get preachy but artificial flavors, sucralose, etc. can cause issues even when ingesting them.
