I might be interested in ordering one of these if you ever get a chance to make another. If that's the case, shoot me a PM some time![]()
No need for any apologies Vinyl. I know exactly what you mean and it's always a difficult one to get right really. I tend to think that all really important stuff and FAQs should be in a sticky and the rest, although mainly on-topic, will deviate - like any normal conversation would. I guess it's a choice Imeo has to make. Does he and do we want a formal meeting environment or something more akin to a series of conversations between friends?
I lurk here daily waiting to buy a GG and I agree, the silly, flirty, big animations and you tube song dedications should be kept in a separate thread, they are annoying when they take over every thread. My husband is silly and flirts with me plenty, I am here for GG information and would like to be able to find it quickly. JMOuse the funny threads for the funny, silly and fiirty stuff
The engraving is very visible. I'll take some more macro shots and post them tonight.Haug, its very impressive my friend. Veeeeeeery nice look!!! I love it. But I think the engraving is disapear? And your threads in the 3 sections are ok?

The skin doesn't cover the cracks so I can remove the battery on all three locations. There are total of 6 pieces that cover the bottom, top, 3 middle and a tiny one on the top![]()
Rainy- I work for a company that manufacturers protective films for portable devices. I'm not sure what the film is made of but here's what it says on our website.
"TechSkin is the next generation of film protectors - made from the same material used to cover helicopter blades and NASA space shuttles. TechSkin offers true scratch protection. Just try scratching it with your keys. TechSkin's "self-healing" technology prevents scratch marks from staying on the film's surface, keeping its glossy and new look."
I used Simple Green Stainless Steel polish before applying the skin. It sticks on there pretty well. And it also provides friction for better grip.
My work doesn't sell these. Maybe I can snag you one if you would like?
ok, yes, when you get it, I would be interested in a video showing how to put the protection on the GG....Either you can do up some instructions on how to put it on, or once i get mine i can make a video doing it, and we'll see how these things actually look![]()
All the deleted posts were off-topic and all that's been said specifically about this techskin is still in this thread. Apologies for that, it was partly my faultQuote from Hyukan:
Hi there,
I've just returned from running errands. I am catching up on the thread but there are so many deleted posts that I'm uncertain what has taken place in my absence, regarding the TechSkin.
In answer to your question, " Maybe I can snag you one if you would like"? Oh yes, I would love one. Reading the remaining sketch of the thread, I'm wondering if Ikenvape is going to carry them? If that is the case, I'll be happy to buy from him. Even so, the offer is very kind of you and I want to thank you very much.
Imeo seemed to approve but questioned the effect on the engraving and I didn't see your response. Does the engraving still show?

Only problem is that the part shown might not be symmetrical.
