they are vent holes,
in case of the unlikely event of a battery failure
they can also be used for a lanyard attachment.....

No problem Rainy, i'll provide some instructions over the weekend.
The film has a rubbery, yet glossy feel to it.... so I would say it's easier to remove/switch the battery since it has more friction.
Once the film dries, it won't move, unless you peel it by force. Btw, if you decide to remove it, it won't leave any sticky residue..
so it is a semi permanant fitting ??
what about if you want to change trans to grant or nano,
it has to come off then doesnt it ??
and then can go back on when you put it all together again for trans, right ??

So....I'm going to have to order another 6v as my backup and use the SD as a collector's item. I'll wait on my new backup before installing the film as 12 hours without vaping is not what I want to experience. 8-o
I want to clean and shine the GGT really well first. Someone mentioned finding a 'metal polishing shop', which I haven't done yet. This is a rather rural area I live in, but it's still possible that one exists. I'd like to have that done. Vinyl's is polished to a mirror finish.
