Post Office from NY to TX, is it just me? Seems really slow...

I always order Express, always. This is not about GotVapes, but since they ship from NY, was the best place to ask the question.

I never blame GotVapes if the package gets to the Post Office on the day I order it. Lately my packages seem to get into some kinda of limbo from NY. I ordered three packages on Thursday, prior to 6 AM, one from Montana, one from Illinois and one from NY. Saturday, I got packages from Montana and Illinois, the NY one shows as of now, still shows it in NY.

I order from a lot of vendors, 2 days from the day I order is the norm, but my packages from NY are taking upwards of 7 days. I know there are no guareentees, but when 95% of my express packages are two days, I start to wonder if paying the express price is worth it from NY.

Just me? Or is this happening to everyone?

yeah i've noticed that it sits around in NY for a few days before they get around to it (the post office not GV). it routinely takes 7 days to AL as opposed to 2-3 from everywhere else.

My orders bounce between 3 NY post offices as well.

You know Chris sends me items all the time by Priority and only once has it taken more than 2 days. Your package was well on its way and it arrived in Bethpage the evening you ordered but then didn't depart Bethpage until 8:22Pm on the 18th (next day). Sometimes if they are staffed well and not overhwelmingly busy that actually get it dispatched the same day it arrives. They dispatch by truck usually. So it looks like it left Bethpage on Friday night and of course from New York it probably takes a few days to Houston so if it was on the truck at 8:22pm in New York no way it would arrive in time for Saturday delivery. It probably arrived on Sunday then of course it is out for delivery Monday.

Overall they did their job - Priority is promised in 2-3 days. You got it in three days (not counting Sunday). You will often though, and most usually, get it in two days, WHEN everything goes well the day it is sent at the sort facility. If they are super busy, under-staffed or whatever other reason. This is why they say 2-3 days. I feel like your luck will change soon Mezz

Sounds like y'all need to keep stock here in Texas too as we have to pay Texas tax from ny. And it will ship faster as we are in the center and can ship both directions coast to coast and it should not take longer than two days.
most of my packages take 5 to 7 days to get here from ny

Well it says I should have today,but it looks like it hasn't even moved from Whitestone NY.

Just an FYI: took 6 days to get from you to Atlanta Georgia. A bit excessive, but not a godvapes issue. Maybe PO just overwhelmed with all the tax return stuff being sent out.
