they must really have a lousy postal system in Ohio.

i just checked my orders i made on the 21st of august, the order from SI is still in Ohio,,but the one from myfreedomsmokes is already in Columbia mo. and i will get it tomorrow,,but God only knows when i will get the SI order.

i ordered these 15 minutes apart,,so if the USPS tracking is right,,they have lousy postal delivery in Ohio.

I think i made the orders before 10 am on the 21st.

OH WELL I guess they will show up sooner or later, probably later.

this is no reflection on SI,just say'n

Once in a while the post offices don't scan when they come through. If you ask usps about it, they'll tell you "it's just a delivery confirmation". They take no responsibility for scanning items at every point. Lately, I have stopped checking the tracking and my packages still arrive in a timely manner and I'm not stressed over it anymore.

This is exactly right. The post office is rather lousy about scanning their packages. I've had a couple of mine delivered before it's even scanned as being in STL.

All I ever do is check to see when it got shipped and time it from there.

With all the cutbacks in the USPS, the shipping times now stink. All of my orders from SI used to take 2-3 days to get to me here in South Florida. Now they take up to 6 days. The worst part is, it looks like the Priority shipping cost has gone up at SI. It seems like the cost is almost double of what it was a month ago.

My stuff has been in NY since the 18th (5 days and counting)....WTH

That's wierd! My orders go through Warrenville, PA after they leave Ohio, and you're west of me in PA. Typical government run operation...let's make the simple things as complicated as the most complicated ones so everything is the "same".

Just remember who runs the USPS and then ask yourself should you expect anything more? Our tax dollars at work! My Mail Carrier gets more days off a year than I do and I'm retired. If you look at the financial end of things they are the only entity in the shipping business that can't turn a profit and if we didn't keep throwing money at the problem they would have gone out of business long ago. I for one believe the USPS should be privatized and run like a real business then at least they wouldn't be sucking up our tax dollars to give themselves raises and a month plus off a year. Sorry I get all worked up about Government waste!!! I will crawl back in my hole now...

In all fairness to the USPS, they wern't created to turn a profit but to provide a service. Granted, that type of service is available from many other sources today that just didn't exist when USPS was created. They also handle tons of ordinary mail at a relatively inexpensive price not to mention the tons of junk mail we all "appreciate" receiving on an almost daily basis. IF, that gigantic word, our esteemed politicians didn't play cute little political games, reward (bribe) each other and pull every other trick in the book to run up the bill, maybe, just maybe, USPS could operate at a small loss or even "break even". I, for one, don't mind a little, and I stress a little, of my tax money going to fund USPS, just cut the waste and frivolity and operate it efficiently, but that isn't the mission of our government any more. May as well hope for that 20 amp hour battery with a 32oz tank in a package the size of a Marlboro 100.

I ordered mine the 21.

Electronic info went on the 22.
On the 23 it hit Akron, Oh.
On the 23 it made it to Cincinnati, Oh
Should be delivered today unless it gets in my neighbors box. She'll sell it if she gets it.

"May as well hope for that 20 amp hour battery with a 32oz tank in a package the size of a Marlboro 100. " If you find one please let me know. Agree with you.

Anyone know how to get rid of neighbors you don't like? I had this one arrested. She is used to it seems. I just don't have any sympathy for someone who tries to steal money from me let alone my kids college fund. Then I told the owner of the home how to use google.com and gave him a piece of my mind.

If they have natural gas service, a line from the street to the meter, traced with a vegetation killer is always a fun place to start, but I would NEVER advocate anything nefarious :)

i may be wrong here,,but i don't believe the postal service gets a dime of TAX MONEY.

of course if you figure the politicians debating over the USPS,i guess that would be our TAX money.

the politicians are one of the major factors of the USPS's money problems, going back to forcing them to over pay their retirement fund.

one of my best friends is retired from the USPS after 37 yrs.,,,i get a lot of my info from him.

i get a kick out of him when i bring up UPS or FedEx, he go's postal on me. ( LOL )
