I've been on and off this blog site about my setup... It's been working for me. A K100 Kecig from Kecig (Kamry) and it has been holding up wonderfully. I have had dual 5 wrap 26 guage micro coils (stock ecig screwdriver size) wire coils running for my daily setup for months and no problems until I set up an account and the risks have been brought up on me... (I run only only 1 now [that is one coil] The stock batteries (18650 and 18350, both IMR) have been brought to my attention as unsafe, so I brought into consideration, the usual conductance of the setup Im running (.2 + ohms) being a bit more than the battery can handle... Then again this is the internet... If anyone is running about the same setup as me... PLZ MSG ME... I'm a drunk and I hope we can still be friends and what not. I'm only hoping for those fanatics / former (cig) addicts will help me [most importantly, others] HELP THEM. :)

A few things:

1) You don't have to post in the new members forum anymore... YAY!!! You can go to specific sub-forums like the rebuildable atomizer section. You'l find all the info you need there!

2) There are a couple of threads that already exist titles 'Pictures of your setup 2' or 'Post your setup.' They both have thousands of posts and you might find what you're looking for there!

3) It sounds like your resistance with a single coil setup 26g, 5 wraps, 1mm ID, should be around 0.35Ω. Do you have an ohm reader? It seems like you've been briefed on the safety side of things but have not taken the necessary steps?

Some more information like the actual brand and mah ratings of your batteries, your atomizer, etc. would be very helpful!

ALL Lithium ion batteries are dangerous... If you don't follow simple steps.

Don't over draw them (amps or voltage)
Don't Leave them in heat or the sun (boom)
Don't Puncture them or crush them (boom)
Don't Over charge them (boom)
Don't Under charge them *see overdraw* (boom)
Don't use batteries immediately after charging. They NEED a rest period

But thats all day one stuff.

I love my IMR batteries and i use 6 of them, 2 at a time, in rotation. That way no one set of batteries ever goes direct to device or direct to charger. Doing this gives my batteries more than the necessary 6 hours of rest time after charge before use. As for your impedence (0.2) thats not a big deal alot of people here rock lower imps for daily and are fine. Its just battery care / awareness.

Most VW mods now a days will protect your battery anyways. Over heating, over drawing etc. Yours being mechanical i would suggest that you buy an inline voltage meter that you can keep in a pocket or whatever to check your firing voltage here and there to make sure you aren't cooking your batteries. I just don't use mechs anymore. With mods that can do 200 watts who needs a mech and all the guesswork about batteries that goes with one.

My daily driver

Sigelei 100 watt box mod
Plume Veil RDA
Zenith Wide bore drip tip
6x Efest IMR 18650 2500mah 35/61amp batteries
SODA Charger (modified with fan for cooling)

COIL: 7 wraps 24 gauge kanthal-A for 0.35 ohm (the picture shows an older 9 wrap coil)
Cotton: Japanese 100% organic untreated cotton sheets. (No better cotton for flavor exists... period)
Wattage: Start around 50 at the start of the day. End around 65. Batteries last all day no issue.
