Many of the close up mod shots in people's hands feature a perfectly clear picture of the persons fingerprints.

With todays technology, these can easily be scanned and copied and used for nefarious purposes.

I am generally paranoid, especially in the realm of the interweb. You may want to reconsider those close up mod palm shots unless you want the world to have access to your finger prints.

Just kidding - I'm fairly paranoid myself and that's a valid warning.

honestly... who cares? people want my fingerprints they can have them. Credit card companies wanna know where i shop, go ahead. gevernment wants to listen to my phone calls, do it.,.... i dont do things nearly interesting enough to be worried about it.

Posting a picture of your fingertips online is probably not the smartest thing to do, but I guess that for now it can't be such a big concern. Think about all the people who have taken picture of their brand new custom designed credit cars ....without hiding any detail. I had seen it only but I never really though that anyone would be that stupid...about 2 months ago a friend proved me wrong on facebook
