Potential short circuit issues

Hey guys so I accidently touched my rda's coil against some metal while being fired. I think it short circuited the battery because now when a battery is in the mod the coil starts heating up. I'm curious whether or not that means my dna 30 clone is screwed, or if it's just the battery.

I can't imagine how it would be. I do it occasionally while brushing the coils and just get an error message and my mod stops firing. I know Evolv doesn't make the greatest chips, but I assume they are protected against shorts...

Theres a short on the board most likely. It shouldn't be firing. You should open it up and inspect the wiring and the board.

Forgot to clarify that my DNA 30 now
Fires when the battery is in there, regardless of whether or not I'm
Pushing the fire button.

Take the battery out and dont use it. It will fire until the battery vents at this point...

The mod is bad, stop using it. The battery is IMO very likely just fine.
