I have had trouble inverting power for charging electronic equipment overseas in the past and I know I can bring my USB charger and my computer for charging most ecigs. But I've taken to traveling overseas very lightly with my iPad and leaving the computer at home. My work is sensitive in nature and my laptop requires a Federal export license or a "travel hard drive" prior to leaving the U.S. My preference is therefore to leave the badboy at home and go light.

But what am I going to do about my ecigs? Are there any 220V UK and Continental Europe ecig wall plugs available for purchase in the U.S.? Currently I'm using a Bloog Maxx Fusion and a Firebrand (Brand Diablo) 510 which uses a standard 510 charger.

Failing that does anyone know where I can get a USB device unit that will allow me to draw power off European plugs (including UK) and run it to a USB device cable like these units all come with? And question is will the power be precise enough to allow recharging?

I don't know, I may be living in the past when you couldn't charge any batteries using just a wall plug converter, maybe things aren't that complicated anymore? Last time I was in Germany I was able to charge headset just using a wall plug converter (just popped a standard Con Europe plug on the end of my US plug and went).

Any experiences?

According to the packaging, the IQ dual USB AC power supply ($10 at walmart online) is world power, 240/50 compatible. You would need a 2 prong US-to-whatever adapter, just like you use on your laptop to convert the actual plug.

The sticker on the back of the supply says 120/60 near the top, but at the bottom shows working voltage of 100 - 240; I believe the top marking is due to that being what it was tested at for the particular ETL certification.

If they have them in stock (you would need to check), tas electronics sells them for even less than Walmart, under $6:
