Does anyone think a single TC coil performs better than a dual coil setup?
All I use anymore is a single coil (~2 ohms), and mainly on a mechanical mod. (however that same build works just fine on an old Provari.(3.6v))
Does anyone think a single TC coil performs better than a dual coil setup?
To be more specific
Would there be any difference in a dual TI coil than a single TI coil in the same atty with the same mod?
I noticed in another thread you were trying to use ss with tc on the DNA200. It can be a real pain to get working. You have to build high ohm (0.5 and above) and space them for it to work correctly. Even then it can be sometimes erratic. I just gave up with ss and tc on the DNA200.I just can't get a great vape from TC these days but maybe I've lost my way a little
May add some CSV files on escribe and see how it goes
By May 2015 I was vaping a 1.5 ohm kanthal coill at 20 watts. These days it's 400 degrees and 30 max watts with a 1.36 ohm stainless coil. With stainless I can switch back and forth and find I prefer temp control, in particular because I only use rda's and they are way easier to live with out and about in TC mode. I'm trying to avoid increasing power. It puts more stress on batteries, consumes more liquid, potentially annoys more people. If I was younger I'm sure I'd enjoy annoying more people but apparently I got over that.As above
I was a TC fan boy for a very long time but I find that in all my new rtas that you just can't beat good old kanthal in power mode?
What do you prefer
The best ss vape I've gotten so far was on a crown coil, I know they have nickel legs but it vaped so well in TC every other ss build has been a painI noticed in another thread you were trying to use ss with tc on the DNA200.
