Yes, I'd really like to hear from Lavatube at Vegas Vapefest and nobody says a word (good or bad). I can't even find anything on Youtube...
I believe the owners of Valcano were vaping them at one point when they were interviewed. I was watching live feed of VapeFest and saw them, but there was only a passing mention of them.
Weird. Hope that doesn't mean anything wrong for all those of us who bought them... Well, maybe not, sometimes they just like to play hide and seek to increase the curiosity rate. 
I was just reading a bit at the forum at Valcanoe, one guy said he got to "fiddle" with a Lavatube at VapeFest, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
I still think it looks like a Star Wars lightsaber.....(surprised no one else mentioned that).
Aside from the looks, I'm interested to see what the final looks like and how it performs. Hell, I'd probably vape it with a neon blue painted gooseneck and just tell folks I'm a Jedi-vaper.

I would guess that if some vendor put in an order they would probably get one the same time as everyone else. Generally, whenever some new thing gets out from an overseas manufacturer they all show up around the same time. Some things show up a week or two earlier some places, but after a few months you see them everywhere (assuming that the device has any demand and is of decent quality and value).
Very nice indeed. Put a laser pointer on the bottom and vape a room full of smoke and then turn the laser pointer on, lol
