Here in Spain sellers are confident that beginning next week VV powers will be shipped to Europe.
In the other forum about the lavatube, that some think is just the same thing, but volcano sais to be somewhat different nothing is certain.
Now they are talking about beta testing them till ¿¿¿¿ Xmass ????
Must be more complicated and sofisticated as a Darwin or Provari. More in the range of an I Phone or something.
I wonder what it takes to make a tube, with a booster and voltage regulater??? Just dont get it.

Good irony, fsroq. Quite frankly, if Volcano still had a word on this the Chinese would be on their way down belowwwwwwwww... Those guys at Volcano are nothing but sorry *+´*?)# (sorry, mods; I never used any word that could be deemed offensive). I'd be VERY surprised if we didn't have our Tubes very soon as promised. Nothing against America really but who cares about America or most specially Volcano here in Europe?

From what I just found by speaking with a vendor, it seems all the rights Volcano owns on the device is on the colour and the name Lavatube. The device actually belongs to L-Rider, full stop. And they're most probably lying through all their teeth when they claim they designed it.
And this is part of an email I just got from a Spanish vendor (what the people at L-Rider said):
I am sorry for late reply. I meet some problem today. so i come back to office late. I am sorry that we make you wait for such a long time. I still not ship out the sample. In the first week, we test it , the variable voltage ego work well and work normal. but after it work for several days, it has some problem. when we adjust it from 3v to 4v or to other voltage...it only can keep for a while, then come back to 3v itself. .All of our engineer is solving this issue for now.
I know it is not good to do business as this way. as we keep your sample money for very long time. if i would know this issue, i should not ask you send me money so earlier. it is our mistake. we make our total apology to you. Hope you can be still patient with us. As soon as we solve the issue, we will send out the sample. You are very good company, our company put much importance on your sample order. we very care your sample order. we will try to ship out your sample order earlier. i will let you know update news when we solve it. thanks for your time and patience.

I also believe that really LRider developed the technical aspects of the mod, and Volcano only the looks. It remembers me to the NoEgo/Epower story.
Volcano basicly is a rebrander, that also has build some atomizers and other to their preferences, but I dont see them have a team of engineers to develop whatever.
They had their own agenda, testing, and then selling for the Xmas campaign, but now are in need probably to get changed the looking and tech-specs of the tube, to justify their statement that it would be 80% ?! diferent.
So I am wondering 6V+ 80%, will this go up to 10.8 Volts? lol.
As I stated in another thread, we are asisting at the first industrial produced VV mod, other then miniseries of 100 pieces and so.
So at this stage some problems could be happening, and do. I am glad that LRider is serious, and doesn´t ship, until they are working as they are suposed.

Jorge, I´m wondering. Is this mail talking of the issue a few weeks ago, who was fixed then, or is it a new issue? Do you know when the original email was posted?
Now I am completely sure it was not volcano who designed them. If asked if it is 2.5 Amp limited, they dont know if it is 2.5 or 3 amp, and have to talk to the chinese to find out. Its getting more and more weird. Now they say if you use any other then volcano attys on it, it will void the waranty!
So I will not be stalking anymore their forum, they are just talking about a product they even dont know the tech specs, and then want to tell us they designed it. And then I also think they will be selling it quite more expensive, thats why they say theres is very special. lol.

I wish I knew something about their schedules but I have no idea. As a customer I'm getting really annoyed, but I told my vendor I was interested in the mod, as I think most are, and not in a refund (for which I'm grateful). But I guess the vendors can't be very happy either...

I got mine (just the mod too) from Yovapeo. I've also been in touch with someone from Volcano and he does make it look more complex (the way L-Rider has been working) than we'd like it to. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they've really finally solved whatever problems they may have encountered and that we'll have the devices, ready, well and very long lasting, as soon as you've been told.

Very long lasting, I dont know. In the vaping world nothing seemes to last very much, and the more electronic stuff they put into it, the more things can and will go wrong.
I would be satisfied if it would last a few years, a couple of them, or maybee three. Thats what is a long time in vaping world. lol.
