Just curious if anyone else can chime in. I have had my Buzz Pro for about 6 weeks now and have loved every minute of it. I purchased two sets of the powerizer batteries with my BP as well. They have been excellent. I typically have been getting 2+ days worth of vaping before they need to be charged. Awesome.

However, the last two days, the batteries have died in about 5-6 hours, max. Both sets. It seems odd that BOTH sets would start to decline at the exact same time, so i am curious to see if there is something else that might be causing this.

It is not the end of the world, but it is a bummer. Any input?

Most likely the atty or carto is starting to short out to lower Ohms , this is not uncommon at all .
is it the same atty as before or a new one ? also what ohms is it supposed to be ?.

it is a standard res joye 510. i just tested it, it metered at 2.0 ohms.

they can do some weird things I have had some that actually only start to short when they are ON or under load. I have not noticed any drop off in my sets I use, Anybody else notice a drop off in charge time ??

i will try a new atty this weekend and see if it makes a difference. thanks for the input buzz, it is much appreciated.

No problem , hopefully we will hear from some others to see if this is happening to the batts or if it is an atty issue. One other variable is the charger !!

I'm rotating three pairs, pretty even use. I'm running 6 - 7 ml/pair consistently, 3.1 ohms. (The tank makes vaping that much easier, so I've upped my consumption, that's part of why I measure in terms of eliquid, since it isn't impacted by whether I vape more frequently. With lower ohm cartos ml/run time is less, entirely consistent with drawing more current to get the level of warmth/vapor that I like.)

Got a voltmeter? After they quit measure the voltage; a bad one will be much lower volts than its mate.

That said it is unlikely you got two batteries that had early failure and that’s not common with batteries without the protection circuits which caused all the early failures of my batteries, all others just got weak after many months.

I’m for a bad atty that’s partially shorting when it gets hot. You could tell that on the old Buzz because the tube would get hotter but the BP is so much more efficient that it will just deliver the extra amps to the short while heating the atty too until it fails. With a BP on a part shorted atty all you would see is shortened battery life.

I don't know how long I have been using the powerizers, I bought them when Mike first put them up and there were only a few sets. Mine last 2 -3 days (around 6 - 8ml of juice) and are very consistent. They last so long that I often forget when I put them in last and then have to change them just to be safe if I am going to be gone all day.

i think i found the culprit. i was using the BP tonight and noticed a rattling noise that i had never heard before. i unscrewed the top cap and found that the screw that holds the red (hot) wire to the center of the atomizer connection was VERY loose, like almost all the way out loose. overall the BP has been a very inconsistent vape the last two days, after 6 weeks of flawless joy, so i knew something was up. it seemed like a battery issue because they were dying quickly, however, i am guessing that the loose connection might have been causing the batteries to drain? i have no clue, i am not all that knowledgeable with electronics. what i do know is that i tightened the screw and it is vaping like a champ again. the batteries seem to be back to normal as well.

i always test my batteries with a multimeter, both right off the charger and right after i pull them out of the buzz. i do notice, that with both sets of batteries, that the top (closer to the atty) battery is ALWAYS drained more than the bottom battery. i just assumed that this was because that battery is getting pulled on harder?

anyway, all seems to be well again =)

See the same with the top battery too, switching them around can affect the difference (every battery has differences in chem) but always the same: top lost more smoke than the bottom. It's magic because there is no other explanation since the current in any series circuit is the same.
I'm going to post on CR4 and see if they know why that happens.
