If you remember, I posted a prayer request for Trukinlady back in October. Since then, after the blood clots and sepsis, she was slowly getting back on her feet. Within the past few weeks, she has had another heart attack! (She has had 3, I think.) They had to put stints into one of her arteries which had a 90% blockage and she was in ICU once again. Well, her blood work wasn't right, so to be on the safe side, they did a bone marrow biopsy. She was officially diagnosed with leukemia. Until they get the results back from that, which should be back this Monday, they don't know which kind and how to treat it. There are differences.....have no idea what they are, because I was so shocked when she told me, I didn't retain all of the info she was telling me. This makes her 4th cancer since she was 3 years old. I got up yesterday morning talking to God about it. He told me that He needed someone with great faith. She definitely fits the bill. This is not an automatic death sentence, but I've been in such shock I haven't even done research on it. When she told me, you could have heard a pin drop. She did what few people have done......made me speechless. I got extremely quiet. I told her what God told me yesterday, and she was speechless and humbled. This won't be a walk in the park, by any stretch of the imagination.

I met Lady T, which is what I was calling her on the board, on this very website. She was the moderator before me. But we clicked even before she became moderator. I looked forward to reading her posts and she said the same about me. Unfortunately, she lives in Missouri and no longer has a working computer or internet. But you can go back through the archives and read some of her posts, if you choose to do so.

Anyway, thank you for keeping her in your prayers. She is my closest girlfriend, besides my sister. She is going to need them. Will keep you informed. Thanks all!

Lady T hasn't called me as yet. Her cancer doctor's appointment was Monday, and I didn't want to intrude if she got a challenging diagnosis. I tried calling her this evening and it went immediately to voice mail. That's okay as I left a message. I didn't want to intrude on husband and wife time, ya know? I knew the other day that it would be a challenge and that is why God needs a person of strong faith. He chose a perfect one as she has unyielding faith. She makes me look like a novice, and trust me, I'm no novice. I greatly appreciate it everyone. It means so much to me, but so much for her and her husband. I truly hate it and wish there was something I could do. I've never been very good on waiting patiently. :(

I have met wonderful people on this forum and I am so very blessed by all of you.....greatly blessed. You guys humble me.

I have talked with Lady T a few times within the past couple of days. She definitely has Leukemia, and it's the chronic kind. She has already started her chemo and still in the hospital. She will be there during Christmas, and I hate that for her as she loves Christmas. Her Saviour means everything to her, and her faith is great. I have a good feeling in my lower gut that she's going to be fine....eventually. Next Christmas, Lord Willing, she will be at home and cured! Her attitude is awesome! I told her I wanted a picture of her without her hair. She told me she would and then laughed and said, "knowing you, you'll put it on the board." I told her I hadn't thought of that but that was a good idea!

She hasn't had a cigarette in a month, but is on a nic patch. She's been trying to kick the habit for a long while. Even if you eat well, smoking can cause plaque in your arteries just like eating the wrong foods. But, again, it a free will thing....completely up to her. But she really has a good chance of putting them down for good. She vapes with the cig's but I'm praying she'll throw them in the trash and never look back.

Her sisters will be tested as potential bone marrow donors within the next few weeks. I'm not her blood type, otherwise I'd try. It would be a privilege to do that for her. Anyway, I'll keep you guys informed and I appreciate your continuing prayers for her! I will continue to keep you updated. :)
