I used to be good at math, but lately my math brain is just shot. (I blame it on the new meds). Can someone help me with this?

I am using Flavor West Cucumber Mint often (I am on my second bottle). I found I like it best slightly altered.

Cucumber Mint 13%
Koolada 1%
Spearmint 1%
Menthol 2%

Now for the math. I bought a 4oz bottle of flavoring. I have used 11.5 ml out of it. Can't I just add the extras (Koolada, Spearmint, and Menthol) to the flavoring bottle so I can skip the extra mixing steps when I want to make up a batch? If so, how much of each would I add? Also, if I do this, would I simply use 16% of the altered mix when I make up a batch?

Also, I have an amber glass bottle to store the new mix in, and nobody else I mix for can stand the Cucumber Mint flavor, are there any other reasons that I would not want to do this?

To combine all flavors as one flavor concentrate it would be as follows.

cuc = 110.5ml (13%)
kool = 8.5ml (1%)
spear = 8.5ml (1%)
menthol = 17ml (2%)

Total combined flavoring would be 17%
total finished mix would be 850ml

Use 17% of your combined flavoring

4oz = 118.29mL - 11.5mL = 106.79mL

106.79ml/13= 8.21mL
1*8.21mL=8.21mL for koolada and spearmint
2*8.21mL= 16.42mL for menthol
Total volume of mixture is ~140mL, when mixing just input 17% as a single flavor (not sure where 16% came from)

However I would recommend doing premix flavor in smaller quantities, something like 30 or 50mL. Calculation is fairly simple as well:

mL of CMint = (13/17)*V
mL of Koolada&spearmint = (1/17)*V
mL of menthol = (2/17)*V
where V is the volume of premix you want to make.

What is the reason behind recommended smaller mix's of the flavoring concentrates in smaller quantities?

Thanks for help on the calculations I get now after reading this thread

I'm not sure How Much DIY you have done? Or How Long you have used this Specific Recipe.

But I would be Very Leery of Mixing Large Quantities or Making Large Quantities of Pre-Mix until you are ABSOLUTELY Certain that the Recipe, and your Tastes Aren't going to Change.

I was thinking after nailing something as a keeper of doing this so it would be easier to mix for friends and what not that may want at a different nic level or pg/vg ratio etc.

I just did not know if there was a storage issue to the pre-mixed flavor concentrates.

Making Pre-Mixed Flavoring or making Pre-Mix Nicotine Base makes DIY Dead Simple.

Measure out Pre-Determined amount of Nicotine Pre-Mix and then Add the Corresponding Amount of Pre-Mixed Flavoring. La Vola, Instant e-liquid.

I use the Same mg, PG:VG Ratio for All my e-Liquids. So I make Nicotine Pre-Mix which is about 20% higher in mg. Then I just Add Flavoring/Sweetener.

But my tastes seem to Vary from Mix to Mix. So Sometimes I add More Caramel and Less Waffle to a Mix. Other times I add Less Caramel and More Butterscotch. Kinda Depends on my Mode.

So for Me, making Pre-Mixed Flavoring isn't the way I want to go.
