Pre-mixing PG/VG

I'm sure this has been asked and I apologize for not being able to find the answer, so asking again.

I am using PG/VG 50/50 buffer in my mixing (separate from my PG nic juice) Is there any reason I shouldn't mix my 2 bottles together to eliminate the step of having to needle the VG and the PG separately? My pharmacist gave me a 250ml brown bottle that they use to mix things like cough syrup. Sure would be handy to have those two already combined.

When I mix I add my nic juice, then the VG, PG, and flavoring so that I end up with about a 70/30 PG/VG ratio.

I sure hope it's okay to do because that's what I do, albeit in smaller bottles than you have. It just seems much easier to have my base mix there, put my flavors in a little bottle, put in some nic fluid, and then fill up the little bottle with my base.

Thanks Sins, I thought I remembered several people saying that they did this too. Yep I have 120 ml of each. VG is a pain in the booty to needle and warming it to make it more user friendly just adds even more steps to the process.

I mix my nic into the base ahead of time as well, that way I only have to handle the 100mg once. I use blue cobalt 4 oz glass bottles that I've marked at the 20 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml levels. Add 20 ml nic, VG up to the 50 ml line and PG up to to 100 ml mark which makes a 70/30 mix at 20 mg. It's very handy to have prepared base ready to go, all I have to do is pour some into a mixing bottle and add flavorings when the mood strikes. Depending on the flavoring ends up between 16 - 18 mg.

I thought about doing that as well Night. I like around 10-12mg/nic and hubby likes 16-18nic. And trust me...I do not want him mixing his own heh! I'm using 60nic juice, I don't really want to handle any higher than that. Just my personal safety preference

I'm going to order some glass supplies, it will be so much easier to clean and sterilize.

On a side note, the pharmacist was fascinated with my e-cig and got a bit of education today. We talked for a good while and she said she hadn't filled a script for a nic inhaler in over a year, rarely ever sold nic gum or patches but fills a ton of Chantix and bupropion (welbutrin) scripts. Interestingly she said the Chantix customers rarely refill past about 2 scripts. This is a big CVS, not a country bumpkin pharmacy. I told her it's because none of those methods work worth a crap! She took the ECF site url to recommend to customers who might be interested
