Here's my first impressions.
Looks: It's thinner than I expected, but this is a good thing. I had envisioned something just marginally thinner than the Leo, but in reality it's quite a bit thinner. It's about the size of a fountain pen, where the Leo is about the size of a baseball bat. It's a nice comfortable size and the pen clip makes it really look like a pen while it's in your pocket. I went with the dim gray, which is really fantastic.
Build quality: Everything looks and feels solid. The finish is even and looks to be good quality. The button is nice and clicky. It's at a slight angle, but it looks like it was set that way deliberately. If not, it's nice and solid so how cares?
The only less than positive thing I can say about the build quality (if you want to be SUPER nit-picky) is that the threads for the cap don't feel quite as smooth as I think they should. It never feels like there is any risk of cross-threading or anything like that, it's just not quite as smooth as it could be. Overall, I'd give the build an A. If the threads where a little smoother, I'd give it an A+
Design: The on-off is great and works exactly as expected. The tanks are great (except for the problem below), and the cap fits very tight.
First vape: The flavor was 90% of the Leo, and the TH was probably 70%. The quality of the vapor was exactly as described. Thick and almost creamy. Even more so than with the Leo, you could feel the thick vape. Very impressive.
Break-in vape: After a short break-in period, maybe 2 tanks, the flavor really opened up, as did the throat hit. I'd put both at least 95% of the Leo or maybe even better than the Leo, although with a slightly different feel to it. There's an undefinable smooth rich quality to it that I've never experienced from another PV.
Problems: I've only encountered one problem so far, but it's a big one. Granted, I have yet to determine whether it's a design issue or "operator error." After about 2-days, I'm suddenly drinking more liquid than I'm vaping. Nothing I can do will keep it from leaking all over the place.
I've thoroughly cleaned out my atty with water, disassembled cleaned and reassembled my tanks, then left everything over night to dry. Now it doesn't seem to be leaking, but I'm getting about as much flavor and TH as with a blucig. My guess is one of the following:
A: Damaged the atty with chain vaping.
B: Damaged the atty with my cleaning.
C: Got a defective atty.
D: Did something stupid without realizing it because this is my first tank system of any kind.
E: Horrible design flaw.
Overall rating: I just can't give an overall yet. I've ordered 2 replacement attys, and if that solves the problem then it will be clear that the problem was just my fault, in which case the Lea deserves and A+. I think that really is the most likely or we'd be hearing constant complaints from everybody who bought one.
