By the way, the sub-forum is in "Test mode" not in "production mode" and j0ker is still working on a form. So no deleting stuff yet, OK? (Yeah, I know it may move). Still, be careful. It could change or "blow up".
Also note that we need to keep backup copies of stuff (the list, the editor-schedule) or have redundant posts or something.

How much work is it editing the list? How much time per day? Can it be a "Check-and-post twice per day" thing? Particularly if we have another thread in that sub-forum where "the committee" can post stuff to note requests.

not all that much work, atty - but it's very time-consuming to read back to make sure no request has been overlooked. and lots of people rely on the link in signatures to check schedule ......

it will get busier once august prevets respond. and whoever does it has to be familiar with the bracket system for colors, font size and fonts. if those brackets get disturbed when updating everything as related to format falls apart. it's no big thing or difficult but people need to watch out
also, checking dates and times posted. nat as a safety net will be invaluable.
i don't mind rotating in at busy times but i need to get free of the list for a couple of weeks in between

The "reading back part" counts as part of the workload. At least that portion of it that isn't replying to other non-schedule stuff

Ok, I just sent the request to add everyone listed, including the ones you dropped.
Yes, this thread will be moved to the new area once everyone has been added.
Yes, you might want to designate who will be the list editors. As soon as I can, I'll begin working on the form for list additions. So try to come up with a few editors now so I can add them to the form. Atty just send me those members via PM, please. Those who have access now, you may notice me working on the "PVT List" thread. It'll be evolving, so feel free to look but don't touch

The question I have (to the group as much as you) is... why do we need an editor-access list? If we're already posting a schedule of "who-has-the-editor-ball", why limit it? Or is this considered added security?
