Hi tibby and Sea......
...and see ya ladies :)

Hi Tom!:)

Nite Whis.

CUL Classy.... don't be too upset... it was still "mission accomplished" with those buttons/text things.

Hey Sea... What's your avi holding? I like the avi BTW, but I can't tell what she's holding and it's driving me nuts.

She is holding a see-thru umbrella, Atty.

G'nite Whis, CUL Classy.

Yeah. The wiki starts by discussing this:
Science fiction is a genre of fiction dealing with imaginary but more or less plausible (or at least non-supernatural) content such as future settings, futuristic science and technology, space travel, aliens, and paranormal abilities. Exploring the consequences of scientific innovations is one purpose of science fiction, making it a "literature of ideas".[1]

Science fiction is largely based on writing rationally about alternative possibilities.[2] It is similar to, but differs from, fantasy in that, within the context of the story, its imaginary elements are largely possible within scientifically established or scientifically postulated laws of nature (though some elements in a story might still be pure imaginative speculation).

So.... although I enjoy Star Wars, I feel it barely qualifies, and would be soft sci-fi, since all that noise in space is a definite no-no. And the "Force" is kinda supernatural. OTOH... 2001 is a hallmark in scifi. So is Dune, although it stretches it some... it's not too bad.

You could go to the library and pick up a typing text, Tib, if you don't feel like taking a class. Amazon's used book selections sometimes are only a penny a book - you just have to pay the 2.99 or 3.99 (forget which) P&H.

you don't know how often my son tried, lol - he thought it is a disgrace. easy for him typing at 135wpm with a 99% accuracy

sea, atty - stop by scott's thread, i opened it early. my little bit of research only showed he loves his car and glv3
i can't even tell what car it is

I remember (decades ago) when I was in High School, and into computers, ... taking a typing class for that reason as well as general credit requirements..... and just hoping/praying there were some other guys in it so I wouldn't be the only one. lol. I think they are required now, or tested out of, or something. lol. Times... they do change.
