Jerry, you guys really have to bury those power lines and start trimming all those overgrown trees. This is sheer lunacy. When I lived in West Hartford, we had downed power lines after every other storm (or snow storm). It's just nuts!

Well I hate to say it but our power lines aren't buried. They do trim the trees though.

WB Classy. I don't have to bother you now with my Profile Page, I went to TWR and dug up your thread on how to fix the PP - it took only a minute to fix - did the ocean bottom this time instead of trees.

I bumped the thread for the newer ladies.

It is nuts, Kat, the infrastructure here is crumbling. The roads are terrible, bridges are crumbling, water pipes are breaking, the telephone poles are so old, that they have spike holes in them, from the days when the linemen climbed up the poles. My blackout was caused by tree branches on town owned property. The whole area is falling apart and when things break, they are just patched up. New England is slowly becoming a third world country. As soon as I'm able, I want to move out of here.
