I'm always careful Sea. My friend who lives near you, left his electric bike with me, when he went back out there for good, after his wife passed away. He said that he wouldn't use it on the roads out there, too much traffic. It's not so great here either, but at least I know the roads and how crazy the drivers are.

Rollerblading? I was very good at ice skating, I might be good at rollerblading too. lol.

My youngest niece loves dancing, she teaches Zumba classes.

Rollerblading is so easy and so much better than rollerskating. I bet you'd be good at it. When I lived in Santa Barbara, my roommate and I used to do downtown @ night and rollerblade thru the city. It was against city ordinance, so we had predetermined escape routes planned in advance. It was always such a blast to outrun the cops by going places their cars couldn't go. I think they chased us just for fun.

I have trouble on rollerskates, Sea. I'm used to being able to lean and be flexible, on one blade. I think I would like rollerblading, since I was pretty good on ice skates. In fact, I used to play amateur hockey, when I was younger.

One of these days, I will get out there. As I mentioned before, my friend is trying to get me to move to So.Cal. I still have responsibilities here, though (my 90 year old Dad).

Maybe I can teach you how to ice skate. lol

I ice skated once as a child and took right to it, but there wasn't much ice out in the CA desert. I rollerbladed for about 4 yrs and then had to give it up when I moved away from the boardwalk. I never could skate backwards b/c it gave me motion sickness.

When I lived in San Diego, my father who lived in NoCal had a stroke. I was engaged to be married, but broke the engagement, went and got my father, moved out of SD, and cared for him for 6 yrs until he passed; Hospice helped me b/c I still took the train to SD daily to work. That's why I don't have a huge social life like I used to - I lost all my friends and party buddies when I moved. But, it was well worth it. My father got to pass away where he wanted to - at home, and he was a very special man.

You are a good daughter, Sea, I'm proud to have you as a friend. :thumb:

My Dad was always there for me, when I needed it. I became housebound with panic attacks, when I was only 23. I had to quit my job (banker) and lost my social life too. I never married because of my illness.

I needed help throughout the years and my Dad was always there for me. Now I'm a lot better and he needs my help, to do the things that he can't do anymore. I want him to spend the rest of days at home, not in a nursing home, if I can help it. It's the least I can do for him. :)

You should let your neice show you some zumba steps. Yes, men should dance even if they don't like to - brings joy to their hearts. You will see a lot of men dancing soon - especially after winter solstice when we'll be fully in the age of Aquarius - the age of enlightenment. My biological father was a native American Indian. The Indians took their spiritual and war dances very seriously.
