Thanks sweet heart...the lake finally went down about a foot...was saying earlier, now we have to rebuild the area all around the sea wall that got washed out...fun fun

Oh, no - hope you know how to operate heavy equipment - but you can learn. I used to drive tractor w/fencehole drill on the back of it when I fenced off 10 acres in Oregon to keep my horses and cattle in. IDK how to do backhoe, so my neighbor dug my irrigation sump. Very cute avi - sorry for chatting on your thread - mainly wanted to say hi.

Yeah, that was a hard life - not again. Had to milk cows, gather eggs, churn butter, make cheese and yoghurt, grow my own food, then can it, give my calf shots of terramyacine when they were sick and go out in the rain to do it all. Had two toddlers at the time, ran myself ragged, so sold it all and moved back to Santa Barbara where I grew up. Life was and is easier and better now.

I was raised with a farm going to my uncles...the worst time of year to be cheap labor was during haying season..OMG
