That's Hugh, not House. We purists definitely make adistinction. (In 150+ episodes, I've only seen him break character once or twice where you saw his facial expressions, etc.)

On the other hand, it is a gorgeous picture that I haven't seen before.

So I don't get it Peoia. What does House mean? Is that the name of a tv series, or is it the name of a character in the show. I'm thinking from a prev. post you made that the name of the actor is Hugh Laurie, and his name in the series is Mr. House. Is that correct?

I have never watched it, Sea, but House is the name of the show and Hugh Laurie is the main character, Dr. Gregory House. I think.

House is the name of the TV show. Hugh Laurie plays the lead character, Gregory House, MD. In addition to the fact that House is a cripple (he had a large portion of his thigh muscle removed 5 years before the show began) and Hugh is an athlete, they have very different personalities. House's mantra is "everybody lies" and he says things like "humanity is overrated." Hugh Laurie is a gentleman. He really uses different facial expressions, even "at rest", when he's playing House.

There were a few episodes this year when House was almost happy in love that his expressions softened a bit and it was a tiny bit harder to tell them apart in a still photo. But that was a real exception. Normally you can tell at a glance whether a still photo is Hugh or House.


ETA: And I have someone who runs a site of photos of Hugh, to think if there are any pics of him with a horse.

I think that Hugh Laurie is more of a comedian. His "House" character is not.
