Guess I'll just have to post em all here since there's no place to stash em, with out opening the thread and stepping on Sea's toes (which I don't wish to do). I know that was the discussion, but since

A) We often start avatar stuff before 4:00 pm and
B) The whole purpose is to have a place to stash the pics

why not open the thing up the day before-before (two days early) or very early in the morning the day before?

This was not ignored Atty...yes we need to talk about it, because having to wait for someone to start a thread is tuff too.
I for one would like the threads to be started a day before...if enough people agree with that , then thats what we will start doing....

Thank you cause it took forever to find that, and then it was animated and, I think, why it's a little fuzzy.

FYI:
I found an animated gif editor waaayyy back when tib was doing her 'sparkly' avi, jj-t i double guh errr. It's on the 'puter at home, so I don't recall what it was called. But with such an editor you can 'cut' out a single frame from the series.

I think opening it earlier is not a bad idea at all - perhaps two days earlier might give those who want to post earlier and the older Vets who don't participate in the threads but do post to the Welcome threads a chance to see it during non-working (RW) hours.

OTOH, it is quite a thrill for the Old Vets to post later - you know, kind of stretches out the celebration time for the Vet who turned. I'm in with whatever the majority wishes on this.

When I PM who is going to start it (I don't do this for Sea, Classy, or anyone else who is active here), I ask them to start it a couple days before but no later than afternoon the day before.
I was going to change the latter part of that to 4 o'clock the day before because of what was discussed.

idk - it looks good to me the way it is now. we have it down as "the latest by 4pm the day before" - so people can start it earlier if they want to ......

Last I heard on discussion is that the thread is to be opened no later that 4pm the day before.....but as has happened, that is too late for some people (like people that work and only get on the forum in the mornings)

I think the morning of the day before would be good....
