I use mostly pg, so don't have to worry about thinning... I get to drink my ethanol

I use PGA in my menthol DIY - I originally started with one drop per ml; now using 1 drop per 3-4ml.
A little goes a long way and it thins it down significantly, IMO.

PI, I used to mix PGA in my DIY @ 10% - way too strong, and it made me dry cough. I cut it down to 5% and did experience TH. I couldn't taste it in my mix, but a few others could. I took an Almond Joy mix (Capella's) I made to a vapemeet, and one of the dudes there said it was tasty, but it would be better w/o the PGA. Funny, I couldn't taste it and a few others couldn't either. Some taste buds must be a little touchier than others. I stopped using it b/c a dry cough seemed like it could be a warning for me.

I can taste the PGA in mine as well, Sea. Hence I keep dropping back on the amount, the extra TH not as necessary as it once was. I have some very viscous VG on hand and it works well at thinning it down.
Oh, so that's what the headache was all about - heh heh, I thought my 6mg juice was too much for me, lol.
Yep, Pokey - I took everybody else's word for it - don't use it anymore. I never have to thin mine down @ a 75/25 PG/VG mix, and I still get plenty of vapor.

I do a 70/30VG and it usually doesn't need any thinning except for this one particular VG I have.
I would imagine that PGA would cause quite some irritation to your throat leading to some significant coughing and who knows what else - I'm glad that you've found mixes/flavors/ratios that work without it, Sea.

It's a fine avi -- they've all been awesome so far! I rather like the combination of Ben Stein and the caffeine molecule. It's like opposite ends of the spectrum. There's a lovely symmetry to that.Okay, going to head out for some wings tonight.
