I so miss Captain Kangaroo. Remember waking at 6am, not a care to speak of, laying on the carpet with a pillow and blanket, watching a false but pleasant reality in black-and-white?

Absolutely.

speaking of nothing in particular, I actually know the art lady from Mr. Rogers neighborhood.

I was a Captain Kangaroo kid, although I like Mr Green Jeans more :lol: Never watched Mr Rogers. Being out in the country, TV reception was spotty; we only got CBS in real well, the neighbors down the road only got NBC :?: Had the TV antenna on a 30 or 40' "tower" that us kids would dare each other to climb up.
