Wow, good trivia!

Actually, since Lost went off (R.I.P)I don't watch TV very much at all. There's just nothing good on now.
Animation Domination! The Big Bang Theory! NCIS! Being Human!
Chicago and Nine were also musicals. If you love music so much, you probably like musicals and just don't know it. I only have musicals on disc. If I watch the same dramatic/funny movie over and over, I get bored quick.
See they are doing a remake of Footloose. Be a shame to do something original.
That is not a musical. Of course... I love it! Saw it in the theater like 10 times when it first came out.
It's got songs, it's a musical.. kinda like Indian (Bollywood) movies..![]()
Tried BBT once and it just looked so dumb that I couldn't watch it again. NCIS... same type of crime drama that is done to death on every other station. I used to like House a lot. Then I got bored with it. I do love Dexter. Great show.
For me, depends on amount of music. Dirty Dancing, yes, musical. Butch and Sundance had a couple musical montages, but were not.
Chicago was OK. Didn't see Nine. Saw the musical of Rent and after seeing the actual broadway production, the movie was just wretched.

I have liked the new season of House so far this time.
Agreed, Rent the movie, meh. I can't believe they remade Footloose. Why don't they remake Casablanca while they're at it? I think they did.![]()
My wife and I have always watched Dexter together.. every single episode of it, every single season of it. We love it. But, we watch it on the PVR. I don't think I watch anything on actual "Live" TV.
House, I kinda lost interest after Season 4.. or was it 5?! not sure.. just so much you can take of somebody as Sarcastic as you are.![]()
No! No! No! A musical is when the plot of the play/movie is mainly sung, not spoken! Dirty Dancing was a dancing movie, hence there was a lot of music in it because of the dancing!
There are musicals that have lots of talking, and when the emotional moment comes, they break into song and dance. Dirty was borderline. It goes all the way back to operas where some have lots of recitatives/spoken dialog.
Phantom of the Opera the movie, musical?
OMG! Dexter is suuuuuch a great character. He is so complex. And the actor who portrays him is genius.
