Welcome to the ECF Pre-Vet thread!

This thread was started by ECF member Whiskey and soon turned into a thread where members can celebrate obtaining their ECF veteran's status.
Besides celebrating this milestone day on this thread, we schedule the events and keep a schedule list.

No one is automatically added to the list so if you're a non vet, you have to request to be added. How to do this and to check out your options (which can vary), please visit. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/wellness-wrecked-bonkers/97885-prevet-faqs.html

All members, new and old, are free to join these celebrations. Vets can post in the Welcome threads in the Veteran's Forum but non vets can't because non vets can not see that forum yet. For non vets to get a post into the Welcome Thread in the Veteran's Forum follow the Sandbox instructions in PreVet FAQs.

Yes I know that the holidays and some recent events and the loss of a couple ed members have knocked the wind out of the sails so to speak but we need to bounce back.

When it comes to someone signing up for a Welcome Thread, nothing more is expected than for you to post in it. Most of the time that is all the member wants.

The reason I came up with the Topic Theme was so we'd have pre-warning that the member was most likely not going to be here even though most would like the full celebration.
With the Topic Themes it's up to you to do the Avatar. But once some of these members find out exactly when they turn, they are making an attempt to be here and a lot of us aren't. I know that that is impossible at times (like asnider and 3:00AM), but he was here at a decent hour and not too many of us where and I know at the time that he did show up that, normally, a lot of us where online.

I also know that many of us are involved elsewhere on the forum but we all should keep an eye on the thread.

I know when making a commitment to this thread it was not a lifetime guarantee but we (including me) are dropping that ball and need to do better.
And here I apologize to Tib and say thanks for the reminder to post in the Welcome Threads.

I don't know if I actually got across what I wanted to say but I am so out of time and have to run!!!

And with my bye bye, I say good morning to all!

I don't have a clue. All the pics were there when I did the thread. Then the first 2 were gone. When I replaced them with other pics another one went out. It's driving me nuts!

JJ...great post & I agree with it 100%, I have noticed the same things you mentioned..I try to get here for turnings,Welcome threads & avatar changes as much as possible & I think we all should try harder including myself to welcome the new veterans & help them enjoy their day as much as possible, I also think it is VERY important that everyone posts in each of the welcome threads
