A panda bear walks into a restaurant and orders a meal. After eating he pulls out a gun, shoots the place to the ground, and runs away. Quickly the bartender runs after him yelling, "HEY YOU CAN'T DO THIS!!!" The panda turns around and yells "Yes I can. Look me up in the encyclopedia!" So, the bartender looks up "Panda" in the encyclopedia, and it reads "Panda: increasingly rare species of bear that can be found in the eastern part of Asia. It eats shoots and leaves.
Later. Time to deal with Lunch/Dinner. No guns though.

The times on the List are east coast. We have some west coast members who try to be around for 'later' turnings.

There's options available for 'rescheduling' a turning time. If someone finds that they need to reschedule, let us know and we'll see what we can work out.

Great to have a new thread started --- but the OP may have some errors in it. I don't think avi's are being transferred to the vet's thread --- and only on occasion does a non vet post or picture ever get moved.
No bashing here---It's a fun day on ECF when one turns vet and takes up the opportunity to have a celebration here. And, the welcome threads can be very special.
(I would have loved it if several of the vets who had taken the time to change avi's would have posted them all in the vet thread....so I could see them even now. And, as I thought they would be, I didn't copy any of them.)

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry about any mis-communication. We don't generally move every picture over, because there are so many. We move pictures when/if a non-vet posts a specific "congratulations" or requests that their posts be moved. All the pictures are still available in the thread- though not easy to find
. Sometimes we've posted a link to the start of the celebration in the welcome thread , and we could probably do that more often.
Hopefully when people change their avi they post a copy in the welcome thread, and you're right it doesn't always happen. And those aren't available after the celebration when they haven't been posted.
(i haven't read the first post in any detail for a long time so it may be that it needs editing 
)
