Pregnant house guest.

So I've been vaping for some time now. I mostly do it at work, but I'd guess I vape 0.5-1ml at home. I'll have a pregnant house guest for a little over a week starting in the next couple days. How much should I watch the vaping around her? Obviously I shouldn't blow it into her face, but what's a good distance? The next room?

Also, how silly am I being about all this? I kind of feel like it might be up there, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of info out there on this.

its actually ok as there is very little nic in the exhaled vapor, i would say depends on how it makes them feel to be around it.

Personally I'd try and avoid vaping around her at all - not because of any inherent risks, but just because she may be uneasy about the whole thing and I'd feel better not doing it.

I would ask her. The stress of her not knowing for sure that she is safe, eventhough she totaly is, would definately do more harm than the vaping. Expectant mothers understandably get nervouse very easily.

The question could also be how comfortable are you vaping around them. Depending on who's over at our house I sometimes treat vaping no different than I did smoking, basically away form them whether it's outside or another room, take a few deep vapes and back to the company, no-fuss-no-muss, good luck however it turns out,

Actually I was at her shower up until now (an odd experience) with a more vocal vaper who is also a friend to her, and one who brought it up with both the venue and her. She didn't mind if we vaped at a fair distance, and noted that her husband is still a smoker. It's always best to talk these things out, I suppose. Though it's good to see the study in post #2.

I was outside until the mutual friend showed up.

As a side note, it's odd to go to a baby shower of somebody who you only spent time with at bars. Really odd in general, since I'm male and not used to being invited to this kind of event. There were kids there too, which made it about triple weird.

I think I made more fuss about the vaping thing than she did.
