Ok, the regular cartos come with condoms with the butplug attached, and have hard tops which are smooth.

Premium variety #1 has condoms with short nibs inside on both the top and bottom condom, have hard white tops which are slightly textured, and are slightly longer and slimmer.

Premium variety #2 has condoms with seperate butplugs, and a soft rubber top.

Leaford so being there are 2 different types of premium cartos how do we know which one we are ordering? or you get what you get? i am going to order the 555 premium so which carto will come with the 555? Thanks

555's are variety #1. But I just today got new samples from that manufacturer, customized exclusively for us with the soft caps, so those differences will disappear very soon!

Just want to be sure I'm getting this right:

#1 variety has the hard cap, is a bit longer, and has about a 3Ω coil.

#2 variety has the soft cap, is about standard length, and has about a 2.3Ω coil.

Variety #2 will become "the standard Premium"... right?

I sure hope so. I prefer #2 over #1 by a long shot.

As for distinguishing premium cartomizers, the best way is to pop the white top and examine for differences

Depends. There are two different sub-models (at the time of this writing) of premiums. Those that are hard and glued, and those that are soft and not.

Not all of the Premium carts have the hard white cap, which is SUPER-glued in!! For instance, my Strawberry and Watermelon Premiums carts have the soft white cap, my Premium RY4s have the hard white cap.
