Ok, I think I am leaning towards an initial order of SL V2 (like the xtra Strawberry?), CGC and Melon Blast all 3 flavor boosted (EVOD single coil).

I am guessing the MB shouldn't require any or much steeping at all and the other two seem to be good either FOOB or steeped.

Someone change my mind on the flavors.

The closest I have now is Moon Mountain Cosmo's Custard and it's 65/35 vg/pg and the flavor in my EVOD is nice but too weak.

I do not recommend Melon Blast in flavor boosted. It is pretty flavor forward even in a tank.

Got my order in today and I can't say I'm not disappointed. They managed to mess up the one bottle of juice I wanted the most, my beloved dirty dutchman.

Its as thing as water. They must have sent me 50/50 by mistake. Compared to the old bottle I had, the bottles I got today, and my bottles from previous orders this stuff no where close. Literally like water consistency.

Why couldn't you guys screw up one of my new 15ml samples and not the one juice I wanted most.

I sent them an email after I got it but I haven't heard back. I really hope they make this right. I'm very dissappointed.

Bad day all around. I got my messed up order from ITC, built my very first clapton that turned out beautiful but wouldnt fit in my post holes, then the insulator on my plume veil chips and now my atty keeps jumping in resistance or says check atomizer every few hits and I have to jiggle it to get it to work for a couple more hits. Only atty I have so I have to make it work and I haven"t been able to find any replacements. Cant afford a new rda right now either even a cheap one becuase I'm working my way through college and med school and am on a very tight budget.

What a day.

On a separate note, I just googled ITC vapes and found their twitter.

on December 27th they tweeted "Jakob is working on a Coconut cream pie flavor, the test sample is quite amazing. I think this is going to be a new top flavor."

What happened? I tried coconut cream pie from MBV and thought it was okay but it had a really funny aftertaste. I would be willing to give ITC's version a try.

Email them or contact them on FB. I hope they come out with new flavors soon. As much as I am enthralled with the current ones, I always have an itch for new ones... I suspect it's growing pains more than the retail but that's just my guess. I could be wrong though.

Pm me- I have lots of atty's sitting around I was going to sell for a steal and I would rather PIF to someone that could really benefit from them. And I hope ITC contacts you soon. Join the FB group and you can post on there your problem. When it rains it pours and I hope things get better. I hate thin juice unless it's intended for a tank.

I'm sure they turned most of their attention to their investment in a retail location for the moment.

Yeah, I'm not buying that one. The post was from almost 5 months ago. They're retail location is a secondary business. The company's primary business is selling e-liquid. I'm not mad or anything though, just wondering what happened to it.

I don't recommend SLv2 with the flavor boost either. It had too much strawberry for my taste to begin with, and I got the unboosted version.

But Strawberry has a tendency to be very muted in an EVOD

[EDIT] Re; Strawberry. There's 'sposed to be Strawberry in Space Jam Astro. I'm getting the green apple loud and clear.
If there's Strawberry in there it hasn't poked it's little head out yet.

Yep. No one has posted to not get the flavor boost that has also said they were vaping it on an EVOD.

IF the flavor is too muted, it's almost wasted money for me except I can't afford to toss it, I Have to use what I bought.

I did think the Menthol in Halo Menthol Ice was a bit much. It's Helacious Menthol. I also messed up buying that, my first bottle, at 18. Sooo, I got the shop in town to sell me a small bottle of 0 mg 50/50 and I use that to knock the 18 down to 12. The slight mute of the Megathol is Just Right.

So there Are things I Can do if the flavor is too strong. If I end up with 3 bottles of faint flavor, there's not much for me to do then but suffer through it.

I don't use an EVOD, personally, but know someone who does that informed me about strawberry. I got him set up with different equipment immediately following.

I realize an EVOD is entry level equipment. Upgrading isn't a $ option for me right now. This has worked OK for 2 weeks now, I will probably be fine with it for
awhile (unless something better just happens to land in my lap...) as long as I get juice that works within the EVODs limitations.

The right equipment is the one that keeps you from smoking. It isn't about someone else when it is your journey :)

TL/DR, the EVOD can give great taste using flavors like Spoonlicker v2 and OG, if the heads are rebuilt.

The EVOD in and of itself isn't a hindrance to good flavor- in fact, within the airflow and power limitations of the heads, I would put the flavor of my EVOD (that I still use daily) up against any atomizer. That may sound crazy, but I also vape on Kanger/Davide Protank 2s and PT Minis along with higher end attys like Aqua v1 and v2s, KFL+v2, KF v4, Lemo Drop, Kraken as well as a couple drippers (Plume Veil and Magma)- so it's not like I don't have anything for comparison. My EVOD is stock other than slightly enlarged air holes in the factory base (no adjustable airvalve base).

The 'magic' lies in the heads- unless you're rebuilding the heads you're going to be limited by the silica wick and the resistance wire they use. FWIW there are any number of combos that will work; I'm using a minimum of 1/16" ID positive pin air holes and at least 3/32" ID chimneys, wicked with Sally's rayon using an over wick, coils having 1/16" or 5/64" ID made with 31 to 34 gauge Kanthal (usually 32 gauge or 0.1 x 0.3mm ribbon), using NR coil tails (not that critical except for longevity of the insulators). Resistance between 1.5 and 2 ohms, depending on the juice and power I'm wanting to use.

That's cool. It was just a suggestion. Sounds like you really want the flavor boost, so go ahead and get it then. I was just saying that in my opinion, it makes the juice taste differently. I don't use an evod but I use a Kanger Mini Protank 2. Figured it was close enough. But I do rebuild the heads.

There's nothing at all wrong with an evod. Like I said, I have 2 kayfuns, a subtank mini, and 3 protanks. I still use my protank on a daily basis along side my kayfun. The Kayfun's flavor is better, but my mini protanks still taste good to me as well, and it doesn't weigh my pocket down having to carry 2 heavy tanks with me on top of both my isticks.

I do use the aerotank v1 base (aka the kanger air control valve) though. It has adjustable airflow and since it's an enclosed 510 threaded base, rather than an ego threaded one, the juice doesn't drip onto my battery contact.

Good luck with your order and I hope you like ITC. They make good juice at pretty darn good prices.

I agree completely, but he said he's only a couple of weeks in and we don't want to scare him away or anything. When I first started it annoyed the crap out of me that people kept telling me to rebuild the heads when I said I didn't want to learn that just yet.

I eventually learned about a month in. The single coil evod, protank, and t3s coils (all the same coil) are the easiest coil ever to rebuild. It was so easy to rebuild that Kanger intentionally changed the design in the newer tanks to make it harder for the consumer.

He'll start rebuilding if he wants to, and when he's ready. I build mine to 2.2 ohms just like the stock coil. It has noticeably better flavor with rayon, but the big advantage to me was the ability to chain vape it without the silica tasting burned after the 3rd hit. My gunky juices were making me change the coils on both my protanks every 3 days, so it's saved me a bit of money too in addition to the other benefits.

This is very well stated. Ask yourself this: If you had gone right to the exact point you are it as soon as you started vaping, would you enjoy and appreciate it as much as you do now? That is what I meant about the journey. Each person has to choose their own path and the pace at which to travel it. Rebuilding is not for everyone. I know plenty of good people who have been vaping for years on equipment they don't have to wrap a coil or insert a wick. They enjoy their vape and have not smoked cigarettes the entire time. That is a big win all around.

And some you just gotta figure out for yourself.

Hey, I didn't just stumble aimlessly in here. :p I actually did my homework on the EVODs. All 10 pages+ of the threads here, almost all the YouTubes.
No Where did I see it recommended to stick with 50/50 juice (at least on the PG side) with these units. But yeah, that first 15 ml bottle of 65/35 vg/pg has made that painfully apparent.

It actually takes some effort to sift out the EVOD type device posts from a lot of the threads here. Seems maybe not so many nOObs using them post
and many of the regulars Have forgotten when they used them.

I don't think it is the device where the problem with higher VG juice occurs, but the silica used in the wick works better with higher PG (thus thin) juice. Hence, the suggestion earlier about changing out the silica with something that will work better with higher VG.

What a day.

You should try the GS Air or even one of the GS series by eleaf, they're about $9-$12 and work great. Here's a huge thread, I admit I read it all, lol, but I'm now an Air-head. Eleaf GS Air Fan evape. us has them.

Give the GS Air a try, I posted a link to the thread here on ECF up above. It's great and holds 2.5ml of juice, I think the GS Air M holds 4ml, I'll have to get my hands on a couple of those too. I think those are also in the same price range. evape. us has them.

I received my 3 bottles a few days ago and was very pleased with all of them. I got max vg and 6m nic in nilla gorilla, bananaberry dream and lemon custard bar, they are all very tasty in the lemo or the gs air but are a tad on the weak side in my protank mini 2's, waiting on two more gs airs so I can keep a couple flavors at the ready, lol. Vape on!!!:vapor:
