Alright guys, I got a Istick50w on the way with a subtank mini. I'm looking forwarding to venturing into sub ohming, but I have a question.

Not only am I finally ordering spoon licker og (you guys persuaded me!) but I'll be vaping in the mini tank at .5. What ratio of pg/vg should I go with?!

I'm excited to finally try it.

You can put higher vg in those tanks but I still order 50vg mostly in my tanks for better wicking and this comes from someone who is a staunch max vg fan. There are tricks to the ST mini wicking better. Some pole a small hole where the juices holes expose the cotton in the stick coils for fewer dry hits. A lot of the subohm tanks can take higher vg but itc has thicker vg to begin with. Hope that helps.

Three weeks in and my Nilla Gorilla 30/70 6mg is finally starting to shine, been dripper testing it every week since that first day. I think next week it'll be tank ready. Which is good timing, as my Cinnagram is now past its prime and on the downward slide in flavor. Really really like Cinnagram FOOB, but it loses something as it steeps for me. Next order, maybe I won't speed steep it OR give it the daily shake routine. That or just order smaller quantities more often. :)

I have been asking on here for v2 of cinnagram for that reason :) and others in the thread too. I bet they have seen our comments and have something in the works. At least I am hoping they do.

Yeah I just noticed that... I like 50/50 for my tanks....

No way! I thought the original person who posted this made a mistake. I'm going to assume that they are just introducing a new ratio, and they temporarily put the 40/60 in that spot until they can update the code?

Either that, or they spent a long time experimenting, and the 40/60 does taste significantly better than the 50/50.

50/50 is such a popular ratio though, I think it would turn off some customers. Honestly, I really do think it's just a coding update they're working on, and it should be completed relatively soon.

Wow. I got an email back from the Mothership, on a Sunday, in Ten Minutes...

Bruce,

The VG we use is very thick, so thick that our old 50/50 caused problems in ce4, evod, etc tanks. After many emails voicing the concern about 50/50 being too thick, we semi recently started using a 55/45 blend. What we have now is 60/40 (60pg/40vg), the difference is completely undetectable between the old and the new, only that it will wick just a little bit better.

Thanks,
Luke

Well I just put a order in for a 30ml OG that'd 60/40

Since they don't have 50/50 anymore I'm hoping that'll be okay for a subtank mini.

Read above... if you normally order 50/50 and you order 60/40 you are essentially getting the same ratio- just called what it actually is. From what I understand from the post on FB- since their vg is extra viscous, their 60/40 pg/vg is the same as other companies 50/50/

They haven't had a serious sale since President's Day, Bikenstein (though they did a free shipping event and a contest since then). Hard to believe they passed on St. Pat's! Maybe Mother's Day....

Yeah, I was very surprised when they didn't have a presdients day sale or an easter sale. Presidents day I can understand but most vendors did a easter sale although considering how much better the quality at itc is over other vendors in the same price range they probably cant afford to do the sales others do. I would say they're operating at a fairly low margin comparitively. Pure speculation though.
