Yes, it has to do with Cam fiasco Dave. I will not put again my customers in this pain if something like this happen in future. Customers cant be involved on those things

I can't speak for "Cam", but I have been dealing with Bruce for almost 2 years now. He is a great and honest business man. I can say with utmost certainty that if Pre-Sales continue through COV there will be no problems at all.
I think since the pre-sales have started, there has been less frantic buying of product, classified prices for GG have come to reasonable amounts, and people are able to get what they are/or have been waiting for.
I myself do not mind paying for a product with the ease of mind that IT WILL COME. I don't trust many people with my money, but when it comes to Imeo and Bruce. I will pre-order what I need and want, without hesitation. If worse came to worse, I know Bruce will refund my money.

Imeo...Please keep the Pre-Orders going...

Is there any way you could do a preorder without a prepayment? Do it as a reserved order. You'd have an idea of how much you need, customer's money isn't on the line until the product is ready for delivery. People would be able to leisurely pick out what they need and be assured of getting it. If a customer backs out and doesn't wish to purchase when the product is ready, then those items could be sold on the seller's sites. Just a thought. :)

Nice idea, the fact is that for every person that potentialy backs out, there will be 5 new ones to buy GG. :)

This is my reaction to this news. It expresses how I feel and how many others will feel also. I would bet money you would never have accounting issues with Bruce or Vassillis

PLEASE reconsider imeo , if it wasn't for the presale , I might have never been able to order a ggts ufs , although I am a victim of this BS I don't blame you . The idea of presales was great . Maybe preorders without money transfer until delivery week . Or ordering directly from you . There has to be a better way . I understand that not doing any of this is less stress on you and customer and it is your choice but I like the stuff you make and would find it hard to get outside the classified price gouging

then have all the pre-sale payments from your authorized dealers go into your account, especially set up for this. once the pre-orders ship to the vendors you then can forward the vendors' percentage to them.
if the order forms are properly set up you should have all relevant totals at your finger tips .....

IMEO, I just thought of something terrible. Bruce and Vassillis are now world sellers. I will have to try and buy with buyers around the world at the same time. COV and Greek sites will crash for sure. Let alone my days of getting GG products will come to an end. Can you even imagine 2000 people on COV at one time trying to buy the Ithaka. 2000 is probably on the low end of speculation. Gives me chest pains thinking about it. Please re-consider. Everyone in USA trusts Bruce, - Vassillis is your friend.

I just have to say, this thread and the information within (largely down to Imeo) has made myself, a newbie vapist easily navigate the GG presale process. I have now pre-ordered and paid (happily via paypal) for a GGTS and GG Stealth from the greek supplier.

This presales process from my perspective works well, although I wasn't subject to the problems others have experienced.

So thank you

you know Imeo, I can't shut up about pre-orders. This is devastating since I did the last 2 pre-orders - was very simple and easy.

Imeo in principle I always agree with my buddy dspin because first of all he's my buddy  and secondly he's never been wrong. I think the Cam fiasco has certainly left a bad after taste with our friends in the UK and other places however I agree with Dave that reverting back to the old system of "scramble for a part" is certainly worse. The GG brand has now become more popular and even more people are wanting to buy GG's and we only now have 3 suppliers verses the 4 we had before.
With this in mind I hate to think what will happen on 'Sale Day" on the 2 main sites (US & Greek). As Dave said I seriously doubt you'll have any similar problem with the existing re-sellers but we will most definitely have a major problem when thousands of people get online on the sites at the same time wanting to frantically buy their GG products.
Until such time as the machine shop at least can keep up with the huge demand can we at least keep the existing pre-sale system which has the vast majority of users satisfied.

We'll support whatever you decide as always but please reconsider because I believe the pre-sale system gives the chance to more fellow vapers to switch to the best.

Once again, thanks for all you do for us.

GG's forever

certainly in all of this did not help the silly comments of some who have criticized the wrong person for the inefficiencies of retailers

Imeo , the situation with Cam was not nice at all , but you had a very good idea with pre-orders , you just need to work on execution of the idea , great ideas always have rocky starts and no man is beyond mistakes , the key is to learn from them and act on it . soon enough I will get my refund and I promise I will forget it ever happened ;) promise :)

I certainly hope you can in the future continue pre orders IMEO. It is a lifesaver for me since I am on the ship a lot and cannot stalk the websites as I would like. However if it is in your best business interest then that is what must be done. The dilemma you are in at present time is very unfortunate indeed and I wish for the fastest possible resolution for all involved.

Sincerely;
Nate aka Darth Vapor
