I say use mason canning jars for the nic and vacuum seal them...sucks out the oxygen (sounds good anyway)....or get a bottle of argon gas to displace the oxygen in each bottle. That is what some of the nic sellers have in their "extended storage" bottles I read. Man you are making me freak out and I was not intending to spend my annual bonus this year on bulk nic purchases...doh

1000ml 100mg should last 5 to 10 years and cost around $135 last time I looked. Kinda cheap when you think about it.
Even if it spoiled in a couple years (highly unlikely) it isn't a big financial risk.
That's where I hope to be very soon. Right now, I am finishing off my last 11ml or so of 12mg. I still have 2-15ml bottles of 6mg, 2-15mg bottles of 0mg, and a 10ml stash of 18mg from week one. The 18mg stuff is my "in case of emergency (cravings), break glass".
Theoretically, I won't really need the nic. But I'm pretty damn sure that I won't get stuck with it if I don't.
I'm not familiar with that case, but wow. People were actually thinking that batteries would be banned? Amazing. Better safe than sorry. So how did it work out for you? How much did you buy? Are you "on plan" from a usage perspective? I guess the fact that the unpleasant taste never changed in 4 years is sort of a good thing. Proves that freezing works. Have you tested it recently to see if the nic content is still at the rated level? I'm curious and won't have the opportunity to find out for several years.
I was actually looking at MFS and RTS as the vendors. Most folks on here seem pretty satisfied with both.
These were Joye 510 manual batteries, not the standard batteries like 18650. Those should never be unavailable, but we thought ecig-specific batteries, like today's ego/spinner/twist batts might be banned. My 510 batts are last-resort. I plan to have enough mods and 18650s to keep me happy for a while.
Yes, I tested the MFS after 2+ years a couple years ago, and the nic was unchanged. No color, either. No change at all that I could tell. I COULD test my nic again, but I am convinced that freezer storage, especially VG nic, is essentially forever. Virtually nothing can happen in it, as long as it is in glass and the cap is tight. Also, should have mentioned to leave 1-2 mL of headspace in the glass storage bottle, in case of expansion (happens in warm, not cold, for VG and PG). I have some PG-nic too, but I tend to make juices and give those away relatively quickly. I don't like PG myself.
Well they did eat that mammoth that was frozen for I forget how long. They said it didn't taste all that great, but it didn't kill them. Well they didn't actually say that it didn't kill them... I just kind of assumed that part. So nic could last for maybe not that long, but quite a while.
I remember this, specifically it was Sun Vapor's fruit juices from Johnson Creek that went bad after several months in the fridge, even if they were sealed. Still not sure what happened there, but I think the conclusion that many here came to, that refrigerator storage is what did it, was patently false. It was more than likely flavors that were unstable over time. Maybe they were naturally extracted flavors. Who knows?
I have found flavored juices do not last all that long, especially in plastic dropper bottles. Some change into a soapy taste, some just become less, or lose volatile components and change. I've not done a flavored juice freezer-storage experiment. All my freezer storage is for unflavored, and mostly undiluted nic-liquids originally from the vendor. If I buy 100 mg VG, it stores as 100 mg VG. I don't bring it to vaping level with diluents first and then store.
